I was told by the Jeep body shop and by Jeep (877-426-5337) that the repair must be completed before the warranty expires.
I questioned if documenting the corrosion was enough for coverage and was told no.
I will pursue this further.

Have you looked in to the requirements for a dealers license? Here in Michigan, you need a building with a sign, office, and a bathroom. You have to pass inspection. And then you must have business hours with someone sitting at the building and they'll check.
Those are not coil spacers in the front.
You have dual rate springs.
Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood your question. The donut you see above the front springs appears to be a factory coil isolator.
How is the troubleshooting process different?
My process is the same whether its a wobble or death wobble.
1. Start with balanced tires.
2. Do a dry steering test.
3. Check balljoints and unit bearings for play.
I don't think it matters what someone calls it. Same diagnosis process either way.
