I don't like the idea of adding spacers on top of the Mopar kit because it's not made for that lift height. The front shocks will be a little too short. Also the front sway bar links. Probably not enough to cause you issues, but maybe enough to bother you knowing it's not quite right.
I have the same wheels you currently have, the stock High Altitude 20s. Kind of hard to see in the pic. Running them with 1.5" wheel spacers.
You could certainly add a 1" spacer to the front of a Clayton kit. Many do this, it looks good, especially when you have extra weight like you do...
I think the Mopar lift with 35s looks good, especially on the models like yours that have the lower fender flares. But it will leave the rake and the kit parts are not made for changing the front ride height.
Are you doing the lift for looks, or are you going to be off roading? If just for...
Hmm, and I assume the tires are wearing fairly even or you'd mention it.
If I was fixing myself, first thing I'd do is a "dry steering test". Someone cranks the steering wheel back and forth rapidly while someone else watches underneath looking for slop.
If you don't want to mess with it...
Death wobble isnât something Iâd expect a dealer to diagnose and fix. Theyâll typically follow a steering stabilizer TSB and thatâs about it.
Independent shop or yourself and good luck with the warranty unfortunately.
Is it a bad wobble? And what shape are your tires in? Do they have 51k miles?
Maybe and maybe more.
Sway bar links werenât mentioned. The links included with the Mopar lift arenât adjustable and theyâre intended for the Mopar lift height. Theyâll work ok with a spacer added on, but they wonât be ideal.
I think youâd be better off with a different base than the Mopar 2â...
Itâs not a bad deal.
The big expense in that kit is the shocks. If those shocks will suit you, itâs a good option.
I spent about the same on a Clayton 2.5â kit with cheaper Bilstein 5100 shocks. I wanted adjustable track bars to center the axles. Not that youâll notice off center axles with...
There is 11â difference in front shoulder room between a Gladiator and F150.
The Ford Maverick has about 1.5â more front shoulder room than a Gladiator.
Ok, so IRS notice was responded to in December. I still don't think it's been long enough to be overly concerned, but understandable why you are. Have you called the number on the notice to confirm the IRS has received your response?
Company B using a payroll service should remove any doubt...
At 3â of lift, youâre getting into territory where more things need attention vs. a 2â coil spacer lift. Coil springs instead of spacers, longer shocks, track bars or at least a front track bars an a rear bracket, sway bar links, and front control arms or control arm brackets to adjust caster...
