Agreed. But that is so far from the norm that I agree with them that they need to retest.
Just a couple things. They were driving 70mph. But, I know the course they're driving (I live in the area) and it's relatively flat.
The towing mpg is still better than the Ford they tested.
I honestly don't think the emissions will be an issue. FCA got their nose well bloodied for that and I'm certain we won't have a repeat. However, when it comes to reliability, you have a point.

There is a lot of stuff from SEMA that has turned to vapor ware. The Rugged Ridge snorkel is just one example. AEV and Bestop are dragging their butts on getting to market as well.
A quality wrap job is cheaper than a quality paint job. Also, a wrap is reversible where paint isn't. A wrap can provide some protection from trail rash than paint (which is what gets scratched anyways).
