A Stilt Rat decided to cut me off, but wasn't fast enough. So he got hit, deer is fine, just got knocked over and slid down the road a bit. Got up and went about it's morning.

I also purchased a HF Badland Apex winch.
Willing to give it a whirl. If I blow it up, I'll upgrade.
At this point, the Apex has a decent amount of hard use cases, and it's pretty sorted.
I look forward to using it as often as possible, probably for some dumb tasks that its overkill for too...
Ok, so after potting the sensors, and cleaning everything up, my lockers engage and disengage pretty much immediately. Which is really nice! I still have more testing to do, but initial use I was quite shocked. It responded promptly. I was having some issues prior. Good to see it working well...
Yes, the diff cover gaskets are reusable, they are rubber/steel and actually quite nice.
If the sensor is oil saturated but not causing faults, it can be saved. If its faulted already, odds are against it working again.
You'd drill holes to pott the sensor, blast out the the sensor with QD...
This is an enthusiast's forum, so it has a diverse, skilled, and creative lot of members. Especially considering the directions you can go with modding these. Less soccer moms, more lift kits. Lol
