I had a dude last week tell me that my truck was sharp and asked if the color was "baby shit." It's Gator.
OTOH, I had a young couple in a topless TJ pull up next to me the day before that and told me they liked my Jeep. I've had way more positive interactions than negative.
I got those front clips on by partially unzipping, pulling on the clips until they popped in place, then zipping back up.
My problem is the the rearmost of the 3 snaps that attach to the passenger side rear door frame (not the ones with straps) doesn't really engage. It's under lots of...
I had a hard top and an OEM soft tp with my JKU. I put the soft top on once, hated it, and never used it again. I had the hard top on half the year, and a Bestop summer top on the other half. That's a tradition I've carried forward with my Gladiator.
Ok. I've never had to be particularly careful with any of my previous Jeeps. I didn't know if there was something specific to the Gladiator I was unaware of and needed to watch out for. :)
Until I saw someone in my owners' group on Facebook mention it, I didn't realize people didn't put them back in. I had always put them back in my JKU.
Maybe I'm missing something, but why do you need to be very careful taking them out?
I call mine Praetorian. I have decals to replace the Rubicon decals, but I haven't put them on yet.
My old JKUR was named Rogue. I like naming my Jeeps.
I just got a personalized license plate: "JT RUBI" only because COVID19 was taken in my state (or on the "do not issue" list).
Economically depressed area. It'll take a while for them to trickle in.
My family lives in WKY, but I haven't taken my Gladiator up there yet because of the Rona. I hope to get up there sooner rather than later.
I had Ace Engineering sliders on my JKU. When I moved to a JT, I bought a set for it. They work great as steps, sliders, and can be jack points in a pinch. They also fir over the Rubicon rails if you have (or can get) a set; no pinch seam.
My only complaint is the driver side slider on my JT...
It may depend on locale. My local dealership sold 10 or more Gladiators in March that I know of. It was about an even split between Sport S and Runbicon, with an Overland or 2 thrown in.
I think it is a bad assumption for "people," but that doesn't apply to "a person." A person is statistically irrelevant and these decisions (offer or not offer a manual) are based on statistical buying patterns. If you don't ever want to buy another automatic, that's cool. But the fact is...
The incentives listed on Jeep's website for the Gladiator all expire on March 31st (2020). Does anyone have insider insight into what, if any, incentives will be offered starting April 1st?
I have a Gator Rubicon I ordered waiting for me at the dealer, but it might be worth waiting a couple...
Mine arrived yesterday and I'm wondering the same thing. All the current incentives expire on the 31st, so something must be coming April 1st and I might benefit from it.....
I got an email from the dealer today that my Gladiator (Gator Rubicon) will arrive no later than Wednesday and I'm ready to buy. I might try to hold off until next week to see if any incentives drop on or about the 1st.
