  1. JT Gladiator Upper Decker Hinged Cargo Basket Now Available!

Sorry, I actually ordered this 3/4" strip. It took about 8 days to get.
  2. JT Gladiator Upper Decker Hinged Cargo Basket Now Available!

Mine was quite a bit short as well. After installing the rear weather strip, there was still about 1/4" gap between it and the tail gate. I do not have the spray in bed liner and I think that is the issue. From looking at some JTs with bed liners, the coatings appear to be about 1/8" thick...
  3. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

For this large of a scene, one exposure for the sky and some of the lighting. About 3 more to get the lighting on everything else as I only have two small LEDs. If I'm shooting just a single vehicle, like my JKUR below, I'll take just a single exposure for everything.
  4. Colorado or Front Range Gladiator owners

It is quite smoky over here in the Colorado Springs area as well.
  5. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Over the weekend in the Ouray CO area. More photos and full trip report on my site, Adventures of Etoimos.

  7. Colorado or Front Range Gladiator owners

  8. Hunting NEOWISE

    Thanks @jurfie
  9. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

Long Range America is working on a 17 gallon aux tank for under the JT. They send me the attached PDF on it. I don't think it is for sale just yet though. I think their JK tanks ran about $1500.
  10. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

Both my son and I can go 12+ hours without needing to pee. lol
  11. Does anyone know of a long range fuel tank?

Because you don't always get 10mpg: And you can easily be more than 200 miles from the nearest gas station. Sure you can carry spare cans of gas, but that actually takes up space and saves you no weight compared to having a aux tank. The aux tank also makes life much easier, no smelling of...
  12. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

Thanks. The nighttime images were taken with an old Canon 6D and a Canon 16-35mm f2.8L lens. However, you can get similar images with a lot of different camera and lens combos. Thanks! After many years of looking at and researching off road trailers, I was pleasantly surprised with the wife...
  13. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

I joined the Sting Gray club back in April. The day we brought it home: Out on the trails with the new wheels and tires: And out overlanding with our OGT trailer:
  14. SHOW ME YOUR WHEELS!

Bringing the new wheels and tires home: That is eight 35" mounted and three 32" unmounted tires. They are 17" Pro Comp 34 Series Rockwell in Satin Black wrapped in General Tires 35"x12.5" Grabber ATx.
  15. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Over the last couple of weeks I did: China Wall And chased down the NEOWISE comet
  16. Hunting NEOWISE

Living in Colorado has a lot of advantages when it comes to the great outdoors. Having clear skies in the evening during the summer months is not one of them. This is really only an issue if you like to do astrophotography and even more so if you want to take some photos of the NEOWISE comet...
  17. To Mojave, or Not to Mojave...

I know you were asking studiodfw, but since I also have Sting Gray, I can attest to it changing quite a bit based on the lighting and even the surrounding terrain.
  18. To Mojave, or Not to Mojave...

Thanks, we are really happy with the OGT. Washboards are the biggest concern for us overlanders and I've yet to find a suspension that can do more then just airing down a lot. Of course having both is better.
  19. To Mojave, or Not to Mojave...

They do put a dent in your wallet. lol The value is actually quite good for what you get, depending on what company you go with. My OGT Expedition 2.0 is all aluminum, has a queen size bed, fold down kitchen with two burner stove and sink with on demand hot water, 60L Dometic fridge, shower...
  20. To Mojave, or Not to Mojave...

Nice setup you have there. I'm similar to you, but with a Rubicon and OGT trailer: I was seriously considering the Mojave as well as I'm doing mostly overland stuff now (I rocked crawled in my JKUR). Had there been one local to me when the wife told me to pull the trigger, I might have...
