Just got a Sting Gray. Pretty much fully optioned, which was a bit more than I was originally looking for, but got a good deal over at Autonation West Jeep, overall a pleasure to deal with. It came with the M/T's which I was a bit weary of, but they actually ride decent. Let the modding begin :)

I am seeing more and more in the Springs. Would be down to GTG for pints or a trail run.

Can't miss mine with the stickers.

We did some camping and hit some trails in the Ouray area this past weekend. Anyone interested in more photos or the trip report, can check them out on my blog Adventures of Etoimos.

My wife and I are heading down that way in 3 weeks, she's never been, and it's been since 2004 since I was there last. Beautiful photos.

Well here, up north in Fort Collins, it’s not great. I have breathing issues as it is and I don’t want to go outside if I don’t have to.

also the fire that has shut down i70 over the mountains is (so far) the 4th largest the state has seen (on record) and it’s unchecked at the moment.

Yeah I think all of us on the front range are getting it good. I’m near Nederland and it is pretty bad.

Hazy over in Nederland when looking over towards James Peak...but depending on the winds not too bad. Try Coney Flats to MSV to Camp Dick...should be ok

Your photography is excellent. I'd be interested in your gear and techniques when you get them up on your blog. I'm particularly interested in your astrophotography as I've tried this in the past and have not produced anything near as good as your pics. Thanks for posting!

every gladiator you could want
Hey guys, can you give this Midwesterner an update on the smoke and fires? My wife is wanting to take a trip out the middle of next month. We were thinking Ouray area and might stop and see some friends in Estes park

Nice Spencer! I hope you can find a good window.

The smoke is something that ebbs and flows and moves around. We are getting smoke from California and Colorado fires.

We tried to head to Buena Vista 10 days ago, but found the smoke to be too bad (especially for my wife) however, the last few days have been ok, the rain got rid of lingering smoke... but it seems to be moving in again today.

I use this map: fire.airnow.gov

though there are others... I will ask my wife for the one she uses...

I live in the mountains outside of Denver, so maybe others near Durango or Silverton/Ouray can give a better indication.
