Many of us have posted elsewhere our experience with this - whoever's video that is, they are wrong (in my experience).
1) Some tires won't have an 'inches' reading on the sidewall - as such, you still have to do some math or refer to a website (or OEM specs) to obtain the actual tire size...
I'm a tad interested in doing this mod, but have to ask: can you really tell a difference once you drive around? I mean, in terms of: overall road noise, other exterior noises, interior clarity, etc. DOES it make a noticeable difference? I don't mind spending the money, but I would like to know...
Installed the Rydonair 13" antenna, lockable Sukemichi hood latches, and Redline Tuning hood struts - all easy installs, all from Amazon. Great (and needed) additions, IMO.
Same here - I looked at TONS of wheels before upgrading my tires, and found that a large portion of the latest offerings are black, spoked styles - just like the Overland OEM wheel. I'm a fan of it, and kept it - just put on a larger tire.

Same here - interested to know the price. Also, as an option, could someone order this with a divider at the halfway point? Each side opens independently, but doing so provides access to the entire area. Perhaps think of having a vertical divider in the middle - again, as an option.
I have cranked all sorts of metal during the year I have owned my Overland with the upgraded Alpine system - via FM, Sirius, and an iPod (yup, still have one of those) hooked into the rear left USB port. All sounded fine. In addition to metal, I've cranked all sorts of other genres (I pretty...
"Fair price" is gonna get you LOTS of opinions. Bottom line is, you're gonna get what you're gonna get, based on what you post them at and what others try and negotiate you down to. I've been watching Craigslist for Gladiator-related items for almost a year now and have seen SEVERAL complete new...
Yes - they are not that thick, and you can still see the light. Bought a solid black front/back set (still with the Jeep logo) for my Overland a while back.
I have a 2020 Overland (3.73 gears) - kept the OEM 18" wheel, put on 285/75/18s (~35") and have had no qualms. Is just a hair of the 'pep' gone from complete standstills? Sure, but not enough for me to complain or consider re-gearing. I'm still hitting mid-18s (or higher) for MPG on my daily...
Yes, it will take some 'playing around' to get it right - I probably tweaked my Tazer setting 4-5 times before the speedo finally reconciled with other methods I was testing. Be patient - it most likely won't be the same as what you've measured directly.
Yup - temporary solution should be fine. I have the Overland, which has 18" wheels. I upgraded the tires (but kept the OEM wheel) to 35" - but then, of course, the OEM spare is a 17" wheel. I worked with the gang at Discount Tire and put on the closest thing in a 17" tire. All is well (although...
