  1. What options on Overland wheels 18x7.5"

I am running Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the OEM wheel - 285/75/18s; they are working out great. Discount Tire link here: https://beta.discounttire.com/buy-tires/nitto-ridge-grappler/p/41793
  2. Broken Sun Visor

Mine broke last week (driver's side), and I temporarily fixed it with a zip tie just to keep it out of my vision as I drive/look straight ahead. Mine broke just like in the pictures shown within the thread noted above - the plastic end piece broke off just above the interior metal collar. I...
  3. Anyone attend Jeep Adventure Academy before?

High of 81 here today...
  4. Tazer and Dealership visit questions

There are many posts here about having someone else calibrate your vehicle, only to drive around and find out afterwards it's close, but still slightly off (or worse). I splurged and got the JL Mini and even then had to tweak it a few times until the calibration was right on target. I guess I'm...
  5. tire question ........

    Mine is: 245/75/17
  6. Planning a family-friendly national parks / wheeling road trip

My $0.02 - you are going to absolutely love the Yellowstone and Grant Tetons areas. We have done that area several times, and the scenery is amazing. Prepare yourself for the crowds at Yellowstone - lots of regulars to begin with, but in recent years there are literally busloads of foreign...
  7. tire question ........

I took a similar approach, and after speaking with the staff at Discount Tire, mounted a 315/70/17 on my spare. I have 285/75/18s mounted on the Overland rim, so the difference is negligible - 1% different on the diameter, but 10% difference on the width (which is the one I'm not so worried about).
  8. Back Seats

Overland owner here - sorry, but I have not had this issue. There is no release - it should simply fold back down. Is it only one side, I'm assuming?
  9. Cooper STT vs. Ridge Grappler Weight

I'm no tire expert, but like you, I did my due diligence prior to changing my tires out - I also have the 3.73 gears. I kept the OEM Overland wheel and went with NItto Ridge Grapplers (285/75/18). Very happy with them so far - no humming when going down the freeway, I'm still hitting 8th gear...
  10. Show me your rack

I CAN'T WAIT for the responses you'll get... A few weeks ago, someone asked about the type of "protection" Gladiator owners use, and... well...
  11. Jeep worthy 35's that are quiet on Hwy

I second this - I'm also doing Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/75/18s on the OEM Overland wheel, and I specifically told the guys at Discount I didn't want to hear any humming when I took the top off. So far, so good.
  12. Best trails in AZ UT for stock RUNICON?

Schnebly Hill is DEFINITELY ROCKY, but a bit fun and I agree - the views are amazing.
  13. Best trails in AZ UT for stock RUNICON?

Glad someone else pointed this out - yes, many areas in the NE corner (Navajo Nation) are still closed off to visitors, so definitely check/plan ahead.
  14. 35s with leveling kit or 2” lift?

    Better view/recent side shot -
  15. 35s with leveling kit or 2” lift?

I did exactly that - Overland with a leveling kit, now with 35s added. See here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/achieved-the-look-and-function-i-wanted-overland-with-35s-and-leveling-kit.35816/
  16. Just the little things

Yup - I've been on Girl Scout Cookie duty for WEEKS now (help pick up supplies, set up cookie booths, carry cookies/signs/tables/shade canopies/etc.), and throwing everything in the back of the JT is oh so easy.
