  1. Good deal or no?

Run the build through Edmunds, look at the invoice and subtract 7%. Compare that number to what they are offering. Most are getting 7% or more as the best numbers below invoice. Better yet, ask the dealer to see the invoice and if they don’t share it walk away.
  2. EVO vs Clayton vs Rebel?

They are bent which does help. I didn’t rub at all with 35x12.5 and rubbed a full turn lock when I moved to 37s.
  3. EVO vs Clayton vs Rebel?

I am running stock Rubi wheels on my 2.5” EVO with 37x12.5 and had a slight rub on the control arms but I resolved with a washer in the steering stop on each side. Easy fix that I don’t notice the small change in turning radius.
  4. Used LE or new ALMOST fully loaded?

I would struggle paying the same for used as you don’t know the history. I am ok with used for a sizable savings but at the same price for just a few features I would rather new. I will however say in Northeast traffic I love having adaptive cruise.
  5. Re-gear for DD

That’s a great deal for sure. In this area most shops charge closer to $3k so I felt like the pricing from Mt Zion was decent. Unfortunately it seems the only places with these low prices are out west. Maybe coats are somehow higher or we just get gouged in the northeast. I had a shop that did...
  6. Re-gear for DD

Had mine done at Mt Zion off-road in York, PA for $2200 parts and labor. I know it’s not close to you but just a point of reference. They did do awesome work!
  7. Re-gear for DD

I just changed out my 4.10s for 4.88s on my Rubicon with 37" Ridge Grapplers and they feel perfect for me. The 4.10s were just fine for around town but on the highway I wasn't getting into 8th gear much. If I didn't tow I would not have changed out the 4.10s however towing I needed the...
  8. EVO vs Clayton vs Rebel?

Nice looking Jeep (assume the one in the profile pic is yours). To help we need a little more information. What size tires are you looking at? What is your budget? Do you want the complete lift (trackbars, control arms, shocks) or are you looking for the lower cost route and reuse some of...
  9. Anyone have thoughts on going from a truck and wrangler to a Gladiator?

I got rid of a Grand Cherokee Hemi that was my tow vehicle and daily driver and a Wrangler TJ for my Gladiator. I love being able to drive the Gladiator everyday and the pickup bed is super convenient. I do miss the Hemi in the GC at times though.
  10. Trailer brake controller gone?

With it coming and going in availability I am not sure I would want it. Seems to be a part Mopar has had difficulty with. Aftermarket is likely the better option.
  11. Looking for better and adjustable front lower control arms

The Synergy arms have a similar lock nut to others but they allow you to loosen it then they have a dual threaded adjustment. Seems just as strong as any other adjustable control arm.
  12. Looking for better and adjustable front lower control arms

While I haven't made any adjustments since I installed mine, it is nice to be able to more easily than removing the arms.
  13. Looking for better and adjustable front lower control arms

Thats the beauty of the Synergy arms. No need to drop an end, you can adjust them in place. I am sure there are others.
  14. Looking for better and adjustable front lower control arms

The Teraflex do look really nice. Synergy makes really nice control arms as well.
  15. How much clearance do I need?

I personally think 37s looks perfect on the Gladiator. But you need to do what’s right for you. Going to 35s on your 4.10 gearing works fine and you really don’t even need a lift. If you want a little more height a leveling kit will work well. 37s are a different story. You would want a 2.5”...
  16. 37” spare tire - list of tires that fit under the bed

Mine is banged up from wheeling trips on rocks. I wouldn’t want to rotate it in. It’s there for emergency only for me. I also wouldn’t want a nice wheel down there.
  17. Front Driveshaft - any thoughts?

I had Tom Woods on my JKUR and they worked great. Not sure if they are any better than others though.
  18. 37” spare tire - list of tires that fit under the bed

I fit a 37x12.5R17 Milestar Patagonia on the stock steelie under mine. It was tight and I did air it down to about 30 but doesn’t hit anything and works well.
  19. Extended warranty... who’s getting them, and how much?.

If you decline it multiple times they may try at cost or close to it making it a decent deal. I got a 7 year 100k full coverage warranty for about $1,100. Seemed reasonable and a decent idea on a first year vehicle.
  20. After market brake controller ... does it need a flash?

Agreed. The RV shop isn’t correct. There is no flash needed. The aftermarket brake controller should work. I have a Curt controller and it works fine. The issue may be the diode needed to block the feedback the controller gets from the truck computer (or maybe the other way around). Either way...
