We will need a little more information. What are you planning to use it for? I see no rocks but what would you need the lift to help clear? What size tire are you planning? What's your budget? Are you looking for the low cost solution or the complete solution or something in between?
Maybe its flatter in the mid atlantic and northeast but I am getting 11-12 mpg average towing my 4700lb dry (probably closer to 5500 with gear) travel trailer. I have a 3.5" lift, 37" Ridge Grapplers, 4.88 gearing and a steel front bumper with winch so I am quite a bit heaver than stock. I was...
Glad to help. Yes, with the EVO 2.5, 37" Ridge Grapplers and now 3/4" spacers added I am at about 80" height. Still fit with room to spare in my standard garage.
I used shock extensions front and rear. I want to upgrade the shocks but had a hard time justifying replacing the perfectly good...
I did notice the front settled a bit so you probably won't end up at 4" of lift in the front. It dropped a little after a few weeks and after adding a winch I am down to about 3 1/2" of lift. I also don't see any issues with spring bowing but maybe that is because the height has settled a bit...
I have dropped my JT on large rocks on black and red rock covered trails at Rausch Creek hard on the rock rail with just scratches as a result. They seem very solid to me. I would have caved in the pinch weld without them.
Now to use them for lifting the entire truck up in the air? I would...
I will keep mine until they offer a SRT version of the Gladiator with the 6.4L Hemi. So that may be forever (because they may never offer it) or it may be next year. But I love this truck and am building it to keep it forever. Most likely if they dont offer the Hemi upgrade within a couple...
Did you call another dealer? Seems odd but possible. I would suggest calling a couple other local dealers to validate. Prob get a better price by bouncing it off a few other dealers as well.
I know this is an old post but I am looking at shock options for my 2.5" EVO lift. I too got a good bit more lift closer to 3.5" in the front. I also added a 3/4" spacer so am likely over 4" height at this point. Which lift size shocks did you get from falcon? I assume the 3.5"-4.5" ones?
What restrictions are you concerned about? I use carplay quite a bit for podcasts, playing music, navigation, phone calls, etc and haven't noticed any restrictions. Maybe I am just used to the way the system works though. I typically enter what I want from my iphone if the menu doesnt have a...
37s and larger aren't for everyone but for my personal use case the 35s with the long wheelbase had me tearing up the underside of the truck on trails at Rausch Creek which is covered in big rocks. I just upgraded to 37s and a little taller lift (3.5") and it made all the difference in the...
