I had the '23 Taco in for service - asked about any trans programming updates since it is so bad. Dude says "no - that's just the way modern electronic autos are". I told him my Jeep auto shifts instantly on throttle and is awesome. Blank stare.
Nice!
In CA it's roughly the same - it banks all year but whatever "isn't used" at the end of the year is reset to 0 - no credit for it. Solar pays off quick in Socal. Electric bill would be about $1,000/mo without solar here but it's $25 which is just fees and taxes. Saving about $450/mo due...
720p is literally HD. That Z Auto camera is 480i. The Uconnect 4 'cargo cam' input cannot accept a 720 camera.
The OEM front cam is worth doing. It's a lot easier to do now than in the past.
Shoot I forgot....are you in a no fault State? I'm only speaking from California perspective. Not sure how Nevada laws work but hopefully that all goes out the window on a DUI.
RE: sway bar disc
If you're lazy as f*** and want to spend 4x as much.... the Apex Autolynx are fantastic. 15 seconds to unlock and 20 seconds to lock. This includes getting in and out of the truck.
Agree call yours. Theirs will stall stall stall, downplay, and lowball. Have your insurance take care of the property damage and then sue the driver and his insurance for other damages. Screw drunks.
Rubicons have a higher tow rating but payload will be roughly the same with equivalent options. I'm going off what I see on door stickers, not 'factory specs'.
They're noisy engines. Yours sounds normal. If you want peace of mind yes you can take it in and have them look at it but you probably won't have your truck for about a month and you'll get it back with door dings possibly a cracked windshield and oil all over the seats.
