I literally couldn't even go 55 on a flat road and get that lol. No idea... ha. I believe people are getting it, I just wasn't able to. Maybe I wasn't using being soft enough on the gas.
Also summer has killed my mileage because I've been mostly city driving lately with high temps and no...
Never saw that on my Rubicon, even bone stock, flat road at 65. More like 23. My first 3500 miles were 90% highway. With 37's (KO2) on stock wheels, winch up front and 4 1/2" springs I'm at 21-22 mpg. So only a 1 mpg drop, same conditions. Assumes light wind... out the door in strong winds.
In my experience the high volume dealers will quote trade at the lowest possible KBB number. My $.02.
Peterson would have been $15k lower on trade for my ā19 JLUR vs a local guy ( based on the lowest KBB) and the local guy still gave me $5k off MSRP on the new one plus tax savings on top.
YMMV
Itās probably impossible to have a productive conversation on this topic on the internet lol.
I hear you though and I doubt anyone would say their intention is to make others suffer and have dirtier air. Iām all for electric but itās a balance while we all go through that change. As far as...
It really depends on what motor you have. From my experience, the 2.0L/3.6 was just fine with light 37's on stock wheels with spacers. I.e., KO2's. However, when I ran my Nitto's on beadlocks, good lord, it was awful with the 2.0. I mean freeway speeds I was under 10 mpg, and it just became...
forgot to update sig I guess
Iām running their 4 1/2ā springs so I can swap to my beadlock wheels with 40ās for moab each year. I run 37ā KO2ās daily on stock wheels with spacers. Helps with break over angle anyway and I still get over 22-23 mpg with the setup
if I didnāt wheel it Iād probably...
The RK springs were too stiff in the front in terms of ride and just felt bumpy on road. The evo springs rode a little softer. This was with a winch, steel bumper. Itās personal preference
I use the gladiator for camping and couldnāt be happier with the setup. The kings would have been fine I...
I have a set of new kings (2.5 with adjusters!) for sale front and rear for the gladiator if you decide thatās the route you want to go. Would sell them at a fair discount off new. I ordered both the Fox3.0ās and kings, ended up not being able to return the kings.
I also have a set of RK...
Half doors are one of those things you donāt really understand until you have them, and then go wheeling IMO. I didnāt love them until then and now I canāt wait to have a set again on my (new) two door. I have them for the JK as well.
that said I donāt think Iāll get them for the gladiatorā...
If you're afraid of pin striping, you could always put PPF on the sides of the vehicle. It's expensive, but it's better than buying a different vehicle to run trails if that's your thing.
It's stopped pin striping on my vehicle on at least one trail where another Gladiator got pin striped to...
