  1. Practical Truck for the Over Prepared Woman

Sweet. I love carbon fiber. It's extremely light and tougher than hell.
  2. Looking for ignition powered wire

For my ham radio, I tapped into fuse 52, which pulls in a relay to power the radio and only when the ignition/accy switch is on. I used an add-a-circuit to do so. You'd need the micro size to do this. Works like a champ. https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-NI-FH02-Circuit-Adapter-Warranty/dp/B0742BZXC2
  3. Bronco Truck vs Gladiator

I kinda like the looks of it even though it's a Ford...but only if it comes with the 5.0.
  4. Practical Truck for the Over Prepared Woman

With the carbon fiber are you curing it? Reason I ask is, years back I worked at an aerospace company and we always had to cure the carbon and silica phenolics in a hydroclave or autoclave. Tough as hell once cured however.

  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I'm still having a hard time justifying $50 for a couple pieces of plastic. Ouch.
  8. Unique Post // I've decided my Gladiator Rubicon is not the vehicle for me : /

I saw one of the new Rangers here the other day. I've had em in years gone by but this new model...not impressed.
  9. Unique Post // I've decided my Gladiator Rubicon is not the vehicle for me : /

On the console I'm seeing 22-24 mpg daily on the highway. Haven't done the calculations but I figure it's close enough.
  10. Unique Post // I've decided my Gladiator Rubicon is not the vehicle for me : /

Just curious. Who gave you the 20 mpg number? The one I traded for my Gladiator got 13 tops on a good day downhill. 2018 Ram 2500 Lone Star Silver edition, 6.4 hemi, 4wd, 10k suspension, tow package. I loved it, but the suspension was beating the wife up being so stiff/solid and the gas mileage...
  11. Dash lights go dim. Can't see....

Been there. We were off the coast of Russia one year in January after leaving Alaska. Colder'n hell and heavy seas. My boiler room (normally 100-110 deg) was in the 30's with both boilers online. It was an "experience". I have zero desire to do it again.

  14. Anyone Replace their Horn?

Good thing you're not in Tx. The wife's a DOT inspector and advised me If I did this I wouldn't pass inspection. I actually thought about it though.
  15. Pinch Weld?

I currently have the Mopar sliders on my Willys. I'm just thinking of swapping them out for something with steps to assist the wife getting in/out.
  16. What did you HAUL in your JT today?

Is that one of the NorthernTool trailer kits?
  17. Pinch Weld?

Well that makes sense, and it it a bit unsightly. I guess if/when the time comes I'll have to mask it off and spray with bedliner coating. Thanks
  18. Soft top too noisy above 110mph

This truck in triple digits? Wow, I don't think that's something I wanna try.
  19. Pinch Weld?

Hey folks. I've seen several posts mentioning a pinch weld. I've searched with no luck. Can someone please post a pic or two of this? Before I look into swapping out the sliders on my truck I'd like to know what I'm looking at in that respect. Thanks in advance.
