For my ham radio, I tapped into fuse 52, which pulls in a relay to power the radio and only when the ignition/accy switch is on.
I used an add-a-circuit to do so. You'd need the micro size to do this. Works like a champ.

With the carbon fiber are you curing it? Reason I ask is, years back I worked at an aerospace company and we always had to cure the carbon and silica phenolics in a hydroclave or autoclave. Tough as hell once cured however.
Just curious. Who gave you the 20 mpg number? The one I traded for my Gladiator got 13 tops on a good day downhill. 2018 Ram 2500 Lone Star Silver edition, 6.4 hemi, 4wd, 10k suspension, tow package. I loved it, but the suspension was beating the wife up being so stiff/solid and the gas mileage...
Been there. We were off the coast of Russia one year in January after leaving Alaska. Colder'n hell and heavy seas. My boiler room (normally 100-110 deg) was in the 30's with both boilers online. It was an "experience". I have zero desire to do it again.
Hey folks. I've seen several posts mentioning a pinch weld. I've searched with no luck. Can someone please post a pic or two of this? Before I look into swapping out the sliders on my truck I'd like to know what I'm looking at in that respect.
