I’ve ordered from them several times, and although one time they sent the incorrect hardware, I had the correct parts a week later. The quality is there. But yours isn’t the only unfortunate story I’ve heard. I couldn’t tell you where the issue lies, but I imagine they turn enough of a profit to...
I mentioned it earlier, but you’re right, it does save you a lot of cash lol.
As long as I have the sliding windows, my dogs will be okay. They also offer pet screens to offer a bit more protection to the mesh sliders, for anyone with dogs.
I was quoted $3100 and about 7 weeks. I was also informed that the outdoorsman side windows are not compatible with the HD frame, fyi. I’ll be asking that question again when it’s time for me to actually order, because I’d really like those.
It really is the easiest course of action lol. People have issues with leaking, but it’s very often an improperly installed seal or panel. My jk seals lasted 8 years before I swapped tops, and they were still serviceable. My wife’s 2008 is still going strong
I’ve never treated them with anything. Keep them clean if they get caked with dirt; that’ll last you several years, and if they get past the point of no return, installing replacement seals is easy and cheap. Practicing preventative maintenance will not net you much life on them, as they’re...
I really had to think through it, but being in construction, I can crack the sliding windows for the dogs and keep the weight capacity for lumber, etc. I won’t be purchasing for a few months still, so maybe they’ll have it figured out by then
HD version holds 550lbs, BUT the outdoorsman side windows are not available with the HD. The frame interferes with the gas struts, apparently. Just FYI. Sucks, but I’m still going with the HD
Got a quote for an HD and was told that they do not offer the Outdoorsman windows with the HD because the bed length forces components too close together... I’m guessing the lifts interfere with the frame. I’d like to follow up with that with ARE themselves because that is disappointing if true
Like, where to buy? Quadratec. Northridge 4x4 sometimes. Other places are pretty limited unless they have the specific model thing you’re looking for. Even northridge doesn’t have nearly the amount of product quadratec has. But they have very good customer service
The Mopar mats are great. And I didn’t have to install them. And drain plugs.
I had whethertecs in my JK, they were good quality for sure. But the mopars are just as good.
If I didn’t want coverage for my dogs, I’d 100% get this rack. Best one out there.
How were the nutserts to install? They come with a tool? I hate those things lol
