I went with the JCR solution and some quick clamps. Sole reason being I’d rather give $50 to an American company that makes good stuff than $10 to some people from amazon. Both solutions work just fine I’m sure Never heard of that Element though-definitely going to look into those

I just know from experience helping my buddies work on their rigs that if no spec is listed, they’re torquing it as much as their ego allows them... at least it seems that way. Way overkill lol

Is there a recommended torque spec for clamping the top to the bed? Could help alleviate inconsistencies

I’ve gotten plenty of JCR items; they’re excellent. QC issues happen; still leagues better than a smittybilt product
