  1. What needs to be done to retrofit Parksense?

Has anyone done retrofitting Parksense? I know there are aftermarket options but I am trying to stick with OEM as much as possible.
  2. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

So I just ordered JTR without proximity entry or BSM. I did add premium LED lighting group so I will have LED tail lights. Do all LED tail lights have BSM sensors? I am trying to see if can add BSM if I get passive entry kit (with BSM wiring) & BSM mirrors.
  3. V6 3.6 vs. EcoDiesel for daily driver

@rocky4by 37s is purely for stance  I am willing to compromise on the gas mileage and ride quality. @Tapped_Out you are making me want the premium audio even more! I am curious if the Alpine system is waterproof. Not that I am going to cross a river with JT but just to be safe in case...
  4. V6 3.6 vs. EcoDiesel for daily driver

@adbeck Hope that's the case. I've only been to one dealership and the salesman was pretty firm that there isn't any discount other than corporate incentives. Once I decide the model & options, I will get a quote from multiple dealerships and have them compete. @Kent5 I am with you. I always...
  5. V6 3.6 vs. EcoDiesel for daily driver

I spent a lot of time researching and debating between V6 3.6 and eco diesel. JT is going to be my daily driver. I like outdoor activities but I don't do hardcore offroading. It's so hard to make a decision so I started listing down pros and cons of each. Overall I think V6 3.6 is more suitable...
  6. 2021 JLURD comes with 4.10 axle ratio but JT doesn't?!?

Alright then diesel it is. Completely another subject but I'm just hoping the new 3rd gen ecoDiesel has less concern on DPF/EGR...
  7. 2021 JLURD comes with 4.10 axle ratio but JT doesn't?!?

This. I think 37s look perfect on JT. So which of the two works better on 37s with stock gears - gas rubicon (4.10) or diesel (3.73)? I've hearing from gas rubicon owners running 37s that they lost 8th gear. Will diesel have the same issue?
  8. 2021 JLURD comes with 4.10 axle ratio but JT doesn't?!?

I just learned 2021 JLU Rubicon configurations come with 4.10 gears including the Ecodiesel. I checked the Jeep website again, 2021 JT Diesel still doesn't give an option to select 4.10 gears. My guess is 4.10 will be added in the next model year change (2022) But I need a new vehicle by...
  9. Running 37s - 3.6 gasoline w/ 4.10 gears or 3.0 diesel w/ 3.73 gears?

I guess there aren't many diesel owners yet who can share first hand experience. Wish there's more data to compare the two engines with stock gears and 37s, I wanna see 0-60 and shift patterns on highway, etc...
  10. Running 37s - 3.6 gasoline w/ 4.10 gears or 3.0 diesel w/ 3.73 gears?

I'm surprised, I was expecting ~15MPG with 37s No but I'm willing to pay extra for more torque since I've been hearing 3.6l owners wishing it had more low end torque. If 4.10 were an available option for diesel, I would go diesel without debating.
  11. Running 37s - 3.6 gasoline w/ 4.10 gears or 3.0 diesel w/ 3.73 gears?

What engine is it? Assume it's a diesel given the decent MPG you are getting? I haven't gotten to the tire selection yet, I need to get a Gladiator first
  12. Running 37s - 3.6 gasoline w/ 4.10 gears or 3.0 diesel w/ 3.73 gears?

Looking for guidance here... Gladiator is going to be my daily driver so I plan to keep it pretty much stock other than 2" lift & 37s tires. (not considering regearing) I've seen a lot of people running 37s with 4.10 gears on gasoline Rubicons. Now, the new eco diesel engine sounds very...
