Ive always hung mine on two ladder hooks that have foam around them. It hasnt been an issue so far. One time it moved the seal a little bit but it went right back.
Its not too bad, the camera is $120. I like them because i can pull video with my phone and it links with my front camera. I also have the adapter so its records with the car off and will shut off if the battery drops below a certain voltage.
Havent purchased them yet, but im looking at fox 2.0s. I purchased the fox 2.0 ts steering stabilizer and it made a huge difference in the jeeps driving. Anything fox ive purchased so far has been pretty impressive. They are pricey, so it all depends what youre looking for.
Tried to come up with a good location for a rear dash cam that works for any roof set up. It isnt perfect, but figured id share a picture incase someone needed ideas. Not sure if ill keep this set up or not, but i like it so far. I used the following trackform items.
Double Ball | 20mm - 8.5mm |...
I dont get it either, some day mine will be lifted and hopefully driven on some trails(not easy where i live). Right now its my work vehicle, i want something ok on gas, with a truck bed, and the roof and doors come off. It seems to do everything i want.
I drive to north shore from western mass a lot. My picture was my average from the last 8k miles, but a trip from my house to southern maine is where it hit the highest so far.
Whats the highest mpg youve averaged on your gladiator? Mines been much better than i thought it would be. Normally im around 23, but lately its been pretty good. Almost all highway with 300lbs or so of tools in the back.
Normally id go for a rubicon or mojave, but the amount i drive is also why i went with the overland. I try to put all the weight towards the cab, but some needs to be accessible or id have to pull everything out everyday. The rubicon shocks are nice i had them on my old gladiator.
Ive been leaning towards shocks. Currently i use it for work, i drive between 800 to 1400 miles a week. The tools are in my car most of the time i drive, so i want to get it driving better with the weight. I will probably lift down the road, but only if i get a second car again. It isnt terrible...
No the truck squats a little bit, but isnt too bad. It kinda feels like an old buick over bumps with weight. It waves around. I was thinking of trying some good shocks, but not sure if the springs are the problem.
So i recently got a 21 overland gladiator. I like the way it drives on the highway unloaded, but when i have my packouts in the back it feels less stable. Not looking to add a lift because i dont want to lose mpgs. Im sure with people adding racks and tents to there jeeps there is a way to make...
It looks stock to me. The pictures online show the top of the front tire around the height of the top of the jeep logo and the top of the lugs on the back tire around the height of the step. Complete guess from the picture. The rubicons and mojaves do look tall stock mostly because the have the...
