Rear Dash cam location

Tried to come up with a good location for a rear dash cam that works for any roof set up. It isnt perfect, but figured id share a picture incase someone needed ideas. Not sure if ill keep this set up or not, but i like it so far. I used the following trackform items.
Double Ball | 20mm - 8.5mm | For Garmin Dash Cam | 20mm Series, Bar Mount | 3/8" to 5/8" Bars | 20mm Ball, Arm | 3.5" Long | Dual 20mm Sockets

Still don't have my gladiator to test stuff out but I did go to a dealership with my gopro and tried to see if it would work off the speaker bar. Too high up to really get anything decent.

I thought about the sound bar, but i figured anyone sitting in the back seat wouldn't want a camera in their face.

I have a rockhard 4x4 rear sport cage on mine. I've had it for about 3yrs now. When I first got it, I mounted a rear dashcam to the cage.

Whats the recorded video quality like? Its crazy for the price of a decent gopro half the time these dash cams will have some of the worst recording quality and bitrate ive ever seen

Its not too bad, the camera is $120. I like them because i can pull video with my phone and it links with my front camera. I also have the adapter so its records with the car off and will shut off if the battery drops below a certain voltage.

I drilled two holes in a piece of wood and slid it up the bars of the middle headrest.
