I'm using URVOLAX for this setup. Doesn't seem like my exact model is available, but honestly...I've been very surprised with the durability and stability of this unit. It's your typical run-of-the-mill <insert name of country> product...except, it actually holds up. I needed a digital mirror because my RTT blocks the rear view.Cool. I’ll look at that. I just saw that Wolfbox has a setup with a Digital Touch screen rear view mirror for the front, and a weatherproof rear that comes with it. Even with a pile of accessories, it doesn’t look like the whole setup would cost much more than $350.
Edit: my trusted car audio/electronics guy said wolfbox sucks.
I went with this one because they have a detached front camera, which is stuck on my windshield and has never fallen off. The rear camera is stuck to the top of my hitch receiver and has stood up to the test of time, and grime, back there. It's actually a nicely shielded spot...the lens doesn't really get too dirty or wet, but the housing itself has proven to withstand the elements (it's gone through 110F+ Central CA heat to below freezing Tahoe snow storms).
I do have the parking hardwire kit, which is also unavailable...
But it works well to record while you're parked. Has built in looping to overwrite the oldest recordings, but you can lock any captures if you want. Just be sure to use a good microSD...I'm a fan of Lexar High-Performance series.
Overall, streaming/recording quality is pretty good. It's not 4K (1296p front, 1080p rear), but it never seems washed out and handles low light/night vision without much discernible noise. With my mounting location, there can be headlight glare, but it's never been a deal breaker. I like how you can digitally change the angle of both the front and rear, up and down. You can also do split view, and the GPS (for speed and compass) is spot-on.
