I've been getting 16.3 for the last two weeks doing almost exclusively city driving.
I have 35x12.50r17 Yokohama Geolandar X-ATs and the Teraflex 1.5 inch level as well as having trimmed the front air dams on my sport.
Only down about half a mile per gallon from the FCA numbers so I'm satisfied.
Assuming you're in terrain where you're worried about shifting you should already have the T-Case in 4wd. There should not be enough backlash in the gears for the front to move enough to be an issue, and your other rear wheel should still be on the ground. If you are in 2wd, roll back and forth...
Invest in a 12x12x1/4 inch steel plate to stick under your bottle jack.
I've bottle jacked wheels of vehicles many times the weight and size of a JT on terrain where you should have no business jacking a wheel up.
As long as you use a jack plate and apply the parking breaks you shouldn't have...
Also I installed my Tazer Jl lite today during lunch, followed the instructions to a T, and now I can't even get my uconnect screen to turn on, nor can I access any of the features it's supposed to come with.
Any suggestions?
I did the same thing to mine, but I used a utility knife instead of a dremel then cleaned up the edges with a mill bastard file. I only spent about 30 minutes total on it, you could probably clean it up even better if you really wanted but from the front you can't even see them and it doesn't...
Try disconnecting the battery for ~15 minutes then reconnect it and go for a drive, maybe that'll clear up a snag in the system causing it to lose connection. Just a thought.
@Op I'd say if you get the Pentastar then the block heater is just the difference between being warm 2 minutes vs 4 minutes down the road. It really doesn't make a huge difference for spark ignition engines.
However, If you get the 3.0 eco diesel, then I'd always get the heater. An engine based...
Next time you connect it try doing the positive terminal then negative to connect and negative then positive to disconnect.
If you attached your ground first the arc from connecting the positive side could have pulled a small surge in the system causing the computer to wig out. Same thing for...
I got these, took a few miles driving for them to sync but they seem to be working perfectly fine. Time will tell.
