I have had the Rugged Ridge ones for several years now. They are holding up well. They are kind of a PITA to clean though. Sand or dirt can get all in between the raised areas and needs to be cleaned out with with a brush. The ones above look like they may be significantly easier to clean.
I've been running these external TPMS on our company trailers for several years now. One of them is the same one you posted. It works well, although the display isn't very bright. These have saved us several times from completely destroying a trailer tire that had a puncture.
The other...
Bestop Sunrider. I put it on from October to April. I don't care for it on long interstate drives. But it has allowed me to open up the roof more often without concern over the what the weather is going to do.
I installed the Oracle flush mount lights along with the rear bumper backup lights. The washout from the license plate late was no longer an issue. When the flush mount taillights inevitably failed, I installed another aftermarket taillight. The washout problem was again a problem. I...
Steersmarts drag link, tie rod and stabilizer relocation bracket. I'll admit I did not read enough when I ordered the tie rod and totally missed I would need to relocated the steering stabilizer. I found that out when I went to install it. I made the axle side mount myself out of some scrap...
The OEM LED headlights are really good. I upgraded my 2020 Sport S with them several years ago. A bit more money, but OEM reliability and better resale when you're done with them.
I had it make this one first.
Then I asked Gemini to color the Jeep in the original pic Competition Yellow from a 2001 Corvette.
I can now confirm that I want a yellow Gladiator....
Maybe I'll just do some bronze wheels on the FR Gladiator until Jeep gives us a proper Hella Yella Gladiator.
Find the right used Rubicon and test drive it. Maybe test drive more than one. That may help you find out what your heart wants.
I've done something similar and found out after the test drive that I still prefer my current JT.
I've been wanting a V8 in my Gladiator so bad that I started to look at used 392 Wranglers. Ended up test driving one that had about 30k miles on it. I didn't like it. I was so disappointed. Like meeting your hero in real life and finding out they are a 5'3" asshole.
Plus the interior had...
I had a 2500 Dirtymax, traded it in on a 1500. Had the 1500 for a year and only put 3k miles on it. I decided I wanted something fun so I traded it on a Gladiator. I don't want a full size truck anymore. The Gladiator is fun. I love taking it off road. I didn't do much of that at all...
Have you loosened up the control arm bolts? This should allow the axle to droop more. You'll need to loosen those bolts and retorque at the new ride height anyway. Typically the shocks control the maximum droop. So it would stand to reason you should be able to drop the suspension low enough...
I liked my Oracle rear flush taillights. The backup lights are very bright. But when one failed, I went a different direction. The cheap Amazon led taillights are still working. IMO the Oracles are too expensive to not last 5+ years without issues.
Noticed this about a week ago. Spare tire went boom just sitting next to the house. This was the last of the tires I got in 2022 from Simpletire.com that was date coded 2017. Never buy tires from that place. They were already 5 years old when they shipped them to me. I'm still pissed about it.
There's a bunch of cheap trailer tires available. Most of them are junk. I have had good luck with Maxxis trailer tires. You can get pricing on TireRack.com or Discount Tire. If you do buy online, stay away from Simpletire.com. They sold me tires that were already 5 years old. I replace...
