I've been towing trailers for decades and I have lost my share of tires. I now replace trailer tires every 4 years regardless of the tread. Stay away from cheap trailer tires like Carlisle. My prefered trailer tires is Maxxis. Do not buy from Simpletire.com. They sent me tires that had a 5...
I purchased a car from Carvana. It was one of the easiest car buying processes ever. I love the simple, "click button, buy car at this price". No waiting for the ball to drop to see exactly what it's going to cost. The first car they brought I kept for a couple of days and decided it was not...
In 2019 I bought a very "sensible" Chevy truck. After 1 year and 3400 miles I realized it was boring and I wanted something fun to drive. Traded that in on a 2020 Max Tow. My first Jeep. I had no idea the love affair that was about to begin. I've now owned this Jeep longer than any other...
I've been very pleased with my Steer Smarts brace as well. When I was tracking down play in the steering system after a dealer screw up, I noticed how much the steering box twisted the frame. The brace has it rock solid now.
I've since added the Steer Smarts front track bar, drag link and...
Fender Clips
Rivets with tool.
Just rivets
Pinching the fender clips on the back side with needle nose works great. You can also unclip several along the side and then pull the fender up. This will leave the rivets in the body and the fender slides off of them. You still have to get them...
This is probably the most intelligent and relevant information I've seen about this issue.
My 2020 has 38k miles on it now. I've had it since new and intend on keeping it for a long time. The cam/rocker issues have my attention. If I do end up having the issue, you can bet I'll take your...
It would be interesting to know what oil (weight, brand) and what oil change interval was used for those with failures. I'd also be curious about the use of ESS on motors that had issues.
I come here almost every day and click the "New Posts" button just to see if there's any new news on a V8 in the Gladiator. A V8 would make my Gladiator perfection to me. An "affordable" V8 options would have me standing in line to order a new one at the first opportunity. A 392 Gladiator...
I painted the inside of mine with a satin black rattle can. I also add the Hotheads headliners . Thanks for reminding me of yet another one of the little mods I've done that I would have to do over if I "upgraded" to a new one.
This is the tubing I used for my back window. I took it to the dealer the first time it was leaking. They had someone squirt something in the crack. It ran down and left a long trail under the window. Then, of course, it started leaking on the other side a few months later. I decided to...
The OEM LED's are really good. I have a 2020 that came with the halogen headlights. I did a bulb upgrade first and was disappointed. I've now had the OEM LED's for over 2.5 years and they have been flawless.
I did use J-scan to make some adjustments. The biggest was turning on the halo DRL.
2020 still here. Bought new in August 2020. 30k miles. Only real issue has been a leaky back window. dealer "fixed" it once. I took care of it the second time. I had the aluminum steering box replaced. It wasn't giving me problems at the time. I just figured I'd get it done while it was...
I love my Gladiator too. I've had it longer (4 years) than any other new car I've ever bought. That's saying something as I've had over 70 cars in my life. It's probably top 5 in length of ownership over all the cars I've owned and not just the new ones. Didn't really do any "Jeep" things...
