Replaced my"Mojave" hood decals to make space for its name. Anyone worth their Jeep salt would recognize it's not an imposter (shocks, skids, desert rated badge, lift, etc).
Added the Bolt hood lock today. Requires a rivet gun that can handle 1/4" rivets, and you have to cut up your grille. Worth it for the peace of mind, from where I'm standing.
You know, I've noticed this as well. I just kinda figured it was just a truck thing (seeing as this was the first and only truck I've ever owned). But I'll check the torques, just to be sure.
Simple mods today:
- Replaced stock antenna w/ a flexible, 15" AntennaMastsRuss one.
- Replaced stock halogen low/high beams* w/ Beamtech LEDs. Picked those up after watching this vid.
*A note on any headlight bulb replacement: DO NOT overtighten the bolts holding the light housing. The housing...
Right? Love the idea (even love the look), but why have what's essentially a JKU with a worse break over angle? Maybe they're not offroading much, in which case it still looks rad!
Can't wait to replace the stock "Mojave" hood decal with @pixeldecals' custom "Raleigh" decal! That city has a special place in my heart, and I got sentimental when Don sent over this mockup today. Gonna have to have an official naming ceremony when it gets here, lol.

@Maximus-3 overland bed rack is meant to be used with a canvas cover. A lot of people are calling them, clamoring for the cover to get released, but it's still in R&D.
I'd DM them or call them to see where they're at with it.
Love the look and functionality of that rack!
Any rust issues with it? That's what took the maximus 3 rack to take so long—developing the protective coating. I've heard the fab fours rack can really collect the rust in some areas ?
