Get the 3 piece hardtop. Order an aftermarket soft-top later, should you desire it.

He sounds reasonable. Since he's local, give him the opportunity to meet or exceed other quotes. When pricing becomes available, get a few out the door quotes and compare. If local is close, take it. This isn't difficult.

The USG wastes tax-paid dollars like it's going out of style. I hardly care that they might want to purchase some JTs. If it happens, the JTs won't be replacing anything tactical. They would become work-mules. What I am interested in, is the paint code/spec that would be used on the Govt JTs!

A government purchase could also be X amount of vehicles over a period of time. Not all built and delivered in 1 year.
