I agree with others, I do like the design and will probably purchase if you can find a way later to make them in the USA.
Automatics are easier to drive.
Manuals are simpler and contain fewer failure modes, but can take an extra 30 seconds to back up to your trailer.
Reverse and diff ratios being too tall in Jeep's design isn't the fault of manual transmissions.

Agreed, but I feel like people complain about the prices being high until some combination of:
Getting money on the hood to reduce the pre-inflated price and feel like they got a steal
Financing way out to make the payment lower and seem not as bad

It's a shame Jeep screwed up something so simple and proven as a manual transmission with hydraulic clutch.
Still, if you do like driving manual, go that way for sure. It's fun and simple.
