I was thinking the exact same thing as a fellow 02 GT owner haha. There is no sweeter song than a Mod motor, especially with blower whine.
That is a badass Terminator sir
It is more difficult actually if your fob isn't there to replicate a signal from. So yes, it could stop a lot of potential situations where someone would try to use an existing fob signal to start the truck.
There are ways to bypass anything, just like your interrupt switches. It's just a...
Thanks, that's what I was wondering. Somehow the RFID tag fell out of my Threedom standalone key (I assume I should've glued it or secured it better), so I was trying to figure out if I would need to buy a new fob to get a new RFID tag, or if I could buy one separately and program / have...
I can't and don't want to waste time stuck at a dealer hoping that JimBob put the right amount of oil in and tightened everything correctly. And I'm sure as heck not wasting vacation time off work for it.
Plus, oil changes are easy and I consider them relaxing. And I can do them anytime that...
As explained in the Threedom post earlier that answered my questions,
If you want the most secure way to start the Jeep, take out the fob battery and press the fob's RFID against the start button.
I've only had the hard top and premium soft top, and the soft top isn't much louder in my experience. I don't even use the hard top now that I don't have to worry about a bunch of Midwest snow sitting on it.
Thanks man, I just have the front leveled 1.5" (Teraflex) but otherwise stock suspension. Eventually I want to lift it another inch or so all round (maybe Rubicon springs?)
Exactly. Same for 75. The fact that they don't test at those speeds is part of my point. The EPA's limited testing isn't optimized for city driving, or for highway driving at 70 or 75 mph.
Mpg wouldn't "go out the window" with shorter gears.
Exactly. You're geared too tall for your...
Making a general comment that doesn't negate my point and logic in any specific way. Ok
Taller gearing always hurts city mpg. So it will need to yield better highway mpg for the average to even come out even.
3.73 gears with the JT in most situations is too tall and hurts highway mpg. I...
In my experience shortening the diff ratio with the 3.6 to 4.10 or somewhere closer to 4.56 wouldn't hurt the highway mpg. And would help the city mpg.
If you like the open air experience then you'll love the Gladiator compared to other trucks (I came from a Colorado).
It's fun to just put the top back on a warm day, and no other truck lets you do that.
