  1. What do u have coming in the mail?

Next venture fully belly skid with the uhmw option and the front and rear diff skids. I think I still have 3 more weeks before shipment.
  2. Concentric_Killer's Rubi

I am on the fence. I am interested in the rear one as it relocates the sway bar from the axle and puts it on the top of the frame. The front I am not sure. I know Jscan can disable the sway bar all together if I removed the stock one. The cost is pretty cheap compared to the tazer. I dont know...
  3. Concentric_Killer's Rubi

I sold my teraflex bed rails and needed a new tie down solution. I bought some L-track from uscargocontrol.com and then used some Riv-nuts to install the track. I ran out of 1/4-20 rivnuts so I am missing some fasteners in the side of the bed. Ill have to order some. I also have the wrong...

  5. Greetings from Utah!

Anyone want some Teraflex Unita Rails? I had them on the truck for about a month and then got the GFC topper. I cannot use these with my GFC and I am going a different route for bed tie-downs. Bedrails, hardware, and the highlift mounts $300. I am in Salt Lake.
  6. ARB single air compressor mount question

Could you run the Grimm compresor mount? I installed this in my JT. Although its for the dual, I think you could make it work for the single. You could make a little plate to mount it to the main bracket if the holes of the single dont work...
  7. Badland Off-road Jack

I plan on getting a badlands jack Mainly for the house. I use my high lift off-road. I have used floor jacks with the sand skids before and they kinda suck. You need the wheels so the jack can move during the lifting phase. A exhaust jack (lift bag) would be better in my opinion for a dedicated...
  8. Competition: 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Teased and Confirms i-Force Max Hybrid Powertrain + Coil Spring Rear Suspension

I am a long time Toyota guy, but I think the so called reliability is going to start to go down with the next gen tundra and Tacoma.

So I needed to put my tred recovery boards somewhere. On my last rig they lived on the roof rack. I have only used them three times since buying them back in 2017. They are definitely something I always have in the rig whenever I go out. Since I dont want to get a roof rack for the JT, I mounted...
  10. Stellantis CEO: Earth Doesn't Have Enough Raw Material to Meet EV Demand

This guy does a great job at explaining if the grid can handle EV's. The math definitely checks out. The downfall has to do with current infrastructure that these power companies have been dragging there feet on. It is a shame that all the nuclear plants are either in dis-repair or have...
  11. Stellantis CEO: Earth Doesn't Have Enough Raw Material to Meet EV Demand

I think one point to take away from the EV industry is the fact that all the batteries can be recycled. All the heavy metals can be reused at the end of life of the battery. So in theory, we will reach a point where we don't need to mine for the conflict resources. With that said, we are...
  12. Concentric_Killer's Rubi

With some decent weather days before more snow, I installed my next venture HD diff covers. I coated them with some raptor liner and let them cure for a couple of days before the install. I re-used the gaskets as my OEM ones are back ordered. So far it hasn't been leaking. I still have...
  13. Concentric_Killer's Rubi

I am probably going to go the 3.5 teraflex long arm or 3.5 extended travel system. I will stop by teraflex and ask some specific questions between the two kits. I am looking for more travel and a long arm will be easier to 'tune' the shocks. They offer an all in one solution (including an...
  14. Concentric_Killer's Rubi

Oh I will definitely order the next venture FAD skid and the front weld on LCA skids. I wanted to take it easy on the checking account since I ordered the belly skid, diff skid, and HD diff covers all in one go... Ill have to check out the rear LCA skids from those companies. Some of my...
  15. Gladiator Down! Failed to Start with no warnings

Did the OP have a small power jump pack? I had to jump mine a month ago, but the power pack does work. It mentions it in the user manual. Connect to the positive terminal on the main battery and then connect to the ground on the body. It specifically says dont connect to the negative terminal...
  16. Concentric_Killer's Rubi

Lots of things since the last update. Got our GFC. This thing is awesome. We will use this in the up coming weeks. I made some mud flaps out of some .09" ABS that I had in the garage and some Butyl Sheet. The mud flaps mount in the same locations as the Rokblokz. My mudflaps however actually...
  17. Back seats begone!

I got the goose gear set. It is expensive, but I probably could have made one similiar (CNC cut, with the locking latches) for around $800 if you include my time, various prototypes and the line-x coating. It is the best mod so far. The doggos have so much room and I keep the 60% side stocked...
  18. Thoughts on Teraflex Long Arm Kits?

I completely agree. I probably will only run 35's as I don't see the need for 37's at the moment. My dad had 37's on his built JK and it seemed a bit excessive for what he used it for. The tires are $$$, he had to re-gear to 5:13, and they are just plain heavy. Plus all the pre-mature wear on...
  19. Thoughts on Teraflex Long Arm Kits?

    Will do. Perhaps this week!
  20. Thoughts on Teraflex Long Arm Kits?

Yea, I can definitely throw down with the metal squirt gun. An axle is easier to weatherize from a coating standpoint vs an entire frame.
