We recently got our 2" Synergy springs installed along with metal cloak geo brackets. We have the Mojave and kept the stock shocks, so far, the ride is as good as it was stock, with our Ikamper installed. Couldn't be happier really. I'd recommend Synergy if you want a smooth ride, shocks will make an astounding difference too.

We are getting our shocks rebuilt and tuned just after EJS, that should really dial it in.

I am probably going to go the 3.5 teraflex long arm or 3.5 extended travel system. I will stop by teraflex and ask some specific questions between the two kits. I am looking for more travel and a long arm will be easier to 'tune' the shocks. They offer an all in one solution (including an extended travel swaybar for the rear). The 3.5 mid arm kit they offer has all the correction brackets, so I need to see if its really worth it to spend the 2K extra for the long arm. Not to mention all the work it will take me to install the long arm.. I would probably do this myself as labor would be $$$$

With some decent weather days before more snow, I installed my next venture HD diff covers. I coated them with some raptor liner and let them cure for a couple of days before the install.

I re-used the gaskets as my OEM ones are back ordered. So far it hasn't been leaking.

I still have the HD diff skids on order from next venture. Im sure they will be sent after EJS.

So I needed to put my tred recovery boards somewhere. On my last rig they lived on the roof rack. I have only used them three times since buying them back in 2017. They are definitely something I always have in the rig whenever I go out. Since I dont want to get a roof rack for the JT, I mounted them on the GFC doors.

I designed some mounts and then 3d printed them out of ASA. This is UV stable and has similar properties to ABS. I used a 40% infill. Hopefully I don't need to re print at a higher infill setting. I guess that's the purpose of rapid prototyping.

I first used some masking tape to figure out where the bracing of the GFC was. I obviously didn't want to hit one of those stiffeners.

I installed some 3/8-16 riv nuts in the GFC panel. The tred boards are heavy, so I had to put the mounts closer to the hinges in order for the gas struts to hold up the doors.

I sold my teraflex bed rails and needed a new tie down solution. I bought some L-track from uscargocontrol.com and then used some Riv-nuts to install the track. I ran out of 1/4-20 rivnuts so I am missing some fasteners in the side of the bed. Ill have to order some. I also have the wrong counter sunk angle on the screw heads. So Ill have to buy different 1/4-20 screws.

I had l-track in my tacoma and it was probably one of the best mods I did to it. The only difference was that I had the L-track in the bottom of the bed instead of on the sides. I might eventually add some to the bottom of the bed.

Oh I will definitely order the next venture FAD skid and the front weld on LCA skids. I wanted to take it easy on the checking account since I ordered the belly skid, diff skid, and HD diff covers all in one go...

Ill have to check out the rear LCA skids from those companies.

Some of my other items that I have been eyeing are a set of Anti-rock swaybars for both the front and rear. I like the rear option since it mounts it to the top of the frame and becomes less of a rock hazard. The front would replace the factory rubicon disconnect and allow me to drive faster than 18mph in 2wd or 4wd with the swaybar 'disconnected'.

I mainly bought the Rubicon for the transfer case/ factory lockers/ and 4:10 gears.
Not sure how sold you are on the anti-rocks, but a Tazer can unlock the sway bar (among other mods). By default will unlock up to 30mph, I still run into this occasionally, so you can set it to a hot key and unlock at any speed.

I am on the fence. I am interested in the rear one as it relocates the sway bar from the axle and puts it on the top of the frame. The front I am not sure. I know Jscan can disable the sway bar all together if I removed the stock one. The cost is pretty cheap compared to the tazer. I dont know if I need all the functions of the tazer. I would only use it to change tire size and disable the sway bar or change the speed. Perhaps a gear change down the road.

I am used to body roll from my last rig. So running the antirock on both the front and rear won't feel weird.

So I jumped on the winch in plastic bumper bandwagon.

Got a Rock Jock winch plate, warn zeon 12s and went to town cutting.

I have had warn products in the past and have never had issues with reliability.

I figured I would try this before spending $1200 on a factory steel bumper. I do like the stock look.

The process took about 8 hours from start to finish. First remove the stock bumper and get the winch plate mounted.

I then took a lot of measurements and cut the stock plastic outer shell of the bumper. As others have done, the stock bumper consists of three separate parts.

I then systematically cut what I needed. I tried to save a lot of the center metal portion of the stock bumper, but it didn't make sense with how much material was left over.

After cutting all the plastic, I cleaned up the edges with a palm sander and threw some paint on the cut metal portions.

I cut the fairlead pocket last.

I also received my next venture front diff skid. I will eventually take pictures. I threw some spray paint on them as they will eventually get bashed up. They are works of art.

I should also receive my next venture full belly skid with the uhmw option in a couple weeks. I ordered this back in March. I am excited to install this as I have been dragging the belly of this rig..
