@JeepCares, mind helping this fella out?
OP, don't give in and purchase these at your cost. It should obviously be easy for someone at JEEP to look up your build and see that they installed the katzkins in them. Maybe JeepCares can get you connected to the right people at Jeep.
I'm guessing they'll only rewrite a service contract and recalibrate up to 35s (since this is now a factory option with the extreme recon package on the JL). You'll need to get your own programmer to change the tire size after they install it. Tazer and JScan are the most popular ones.
As a...
"Seems like I’ll never be done sanding" will change to "Seems like I can't stop staring" when she's done.
Awesome progress and thanks for sharing the build.
My 2004 GC overland WJ has the NV247 t-case (shifter has full time 4WD and 4WD low options) , and it along with the varilock front and rear axles is an absolute beast in winter conditions. I figured I'd sell the WJ after I got my JT, but after driving the JT in winter conditions it's no where...
You could just adjust the upper bend near the trail rails so the bracket doesn't hold the jack as far away from the rear wall. I'd just put it in a vice and give it some blows with a hammer or just bend it by hand. This will likely chip the paint/powder coat on the backet but will likely still...
I've had horrid customer service from them as well. I ordered one of their bumper hoop bars through Northridge, and after months of delays I think Northridge actually got fed up with ATP's BS responses/delays/lies about current order status that Northridge actually discontinued the hoop bar on...
If you wouldn't mind, please share some pics once you get it out of the garage from some different angles. Very interested in this bumper. Thanks in advance!
Fair enough and I agree everyone needs to compile research from multiple sites and reviews. keep in mind what other vehicles make their lists, yet here we all are buying them at record numbers.
This right here was all I was asking for, provide some stats that can actually help someone make a decision.
Another set of reviews from JD Power, for what it's worth. I hardly consider myself a fanboy for the Renegade, I understand it's a compact econobox with above average off road chops for...
I'm not disputing the fact it's a rebadged (slightly upgraded) FIAT, I'm asking him to clarify the statements of it being "crap" on all fronts.
Do you guys also crap on challengers and chargers since their platforms are so old? They still sell like crazy.
J Jonah Jameson, is that you?
You realize in no way does your rant here help the conversation? Provide some stats about all the points you're trying to make, otherwise it's just a personal (angry?) opinion. I think we all agree here it's more of an econo-car and not as robust compared to the...
So I some what fit this thread perfectly, I have a JT sport S, and my GF has the Renegade Trailhawk. I'll be honest in saying I wasn't a fan of the Renegade when it was first announced, but after actually sitting in one I actually like it quite a bit, even with both of us being very tall...
I think they just made the cabin air filters standard on all trim levels for 2022, can't imagine they'd actually change anything substantial on the HVAC system this early. They may have just upgraded the filters to higher quality HEPA air filters too.
Do you guys have any topographic style vinyls? I've seen a few pics of them bouncing around, but can't recall where. I'd be after a matte black background with semigloss topographic lines, and then a gold/bronze perimeter line.
I think we'd all be extremely surprised at what lengths the engineers go to maximize efficiency out of newer engines. 10+ years ago there may have been some gains to be had with CAI with better intake locations, but our factory JL/JT engines already have a dedicated intake duct in the passenger...
If you think we won't get taxed another way (ie per mile basis) on EVs you're going to be sorely disappointed. Road maintenance $$$ need to come from somewhere. I fully expect EVs to have to disclose mileage to get new plate tags each year.
I got the SS3 Pro fogs in white and the brackets to mount them to the MOPAR steel bumper, very happy with them and they are way better than I expected output wise. No experience with BDs, so can't really compare them, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with the SS3 Pros.
