I've never had the need to test that Tazer function either, but I do know that the guy from Z Automotive is usually pretty responsive to questions as well. He might be able to give you the definitive answer you need. Which reminds me, I still need to find out if the Tazer JL will work on the...
Of course. Even though it's not a JT, it's close enough.
Already ordered the side steps since she's only 4' 13" tall. I groaned and ordered them from Quadratec since they claim to have what she wanted. I figure the Jeep is probably 6-8 weeks out, so maybe I'll have the steps in time.
Just ordered a JLU in Mojito for the wife. Black sunrider hard top, black fenders, bumpers, gril, side rails etc should break it up enough. Actually surprised she picked that color, she's usually one for more subtle colors. She had picked the phantom blue, but apparently it's currently unavailable.
We all start somewhere. I've been turning a wrench since the late 70's.
Here's my first 4x4. Trust me, when you go 40" Monster Mudders and a built 440cid V8 (that's 7.1L for you youngsters) and offroad it ever weekend, you will break and replace EVERYTHING.. We all started out knowing nothing.
The no sales tax includes our booze (and no can/bottle deposit either) and cigars. We have some of the best prices on both because of that. So be sure to stock up and keep my property taxes low, lol.
Also, looking at the dates you're planning, there is a very good chance you will be here for...

If you've ever been, I live about 10 miles away in those mountains you can see from their outdoor bar area.

I believe that only resets it, not disables it. Meaning if you activate the auto-park by trying to drive with the door open and the seatbelt off, closing the door or putting the seatbelt on isn't enough. You must also move the shifter into park before you can move again.
The tazer will indeed negate the extender, if you enable the feature.
For me, the price isn't even the issue. If I'm too lazy to close the door or buckle the seat belt to drive 2ft, I'm certainly not going to dig an extender out of the console or wherever and plug that in. It's not like I'm...
The OP already owns a Tazer, which will do what they ask. Plugging in seatbelt extenders and other hacks negate the whole reason most people want to be able to do this, IMNHO.
It's there. It's called autopark (AP) kill. Make sure you update to the latest firmware and read and follow ALL the instructions in the manual EXACTLY. Almost every "tazer problem" is user error.
Without invading his privacy too much, I was worried too. We actually have some mutual friends of friends due to several other shared interests, and it appears he may just be taking a break.
Well, first off a bent tie rod or drag link should be replaced because it will change your steering alignment and ruin your front tires.
Second, if you bent that, you should make sure nothing else steering/suspension wise else is damaged.
As far as the knocking while turning. I would check...
I think most of those might false too much in regular driving, especially off-road, but worth looking into because it would probably be the simplest, most durable and weatherproof option.
I've actually thought of something like that, but not for the lights. Just to turn on an idiot light if I drive off with the tailgate down. It's only happened maybe 3 times, but 2 of those times I had a bunch of tools in the bed. I drove 20 miles of backroads once before I stopped for food and...
I certainly wouldn't say it's the sole reason to buy a Tazer, but if you already have one, it will do exactly what you want as far as switching the bed lights. Just wire your led light strips to the oem bed lights.
I think AlfaOBD and the recommended OBD adapter and SGW will handle all the monitoring requirements (double check, I've never dug THAT deep into the weeds). While not cheap, it should still be a heck of a lot cheaper than that Autel.
For turning off ESS or engaging the rear locker in 2wd you...
