I have a 20 gladiator that came with tazer mini on it. Is there a setting I can change that lets me drive with door open. Right now if door is open and I put it drive or reverse Jeep will not let me go. Thanks for any help.

I believe this setting was removed. I had it on my 21 two door and it was off. Switched over to my gladiator and now can’t seem to find the setting anymore

It's there. It's called autopark (AP) kill. Make sure you update to the latest firmware and read and follow ALL the instructions in the manual EXACTLY. Almost every "tazer problem" is user error.

I can't think of anything reason to drive with the door open, but if you're doing for something like backing up to a trailer, you can always unplug the harness so it thinks the door is off.

Also, all you have to do is shift back to park, then drive or reverse again and it disables it anyway. It's there as a level of safety, but if you knowingly choose to shift back again, it will work.

Try it with the seat belt buckled.

I do it all the time. Just to move a few feet in the driveway, for example.

Seat belt extension from Amazon works great for this

The OP already owns a Tazer, which will do what they ask. Plugging in seatbelt extenders and other hacks negate the whole reason most people want to be able to do this, IMNHO.

The Tazer may negate the need for an extender, I honestly don't know. I've used one much longer than I've had a Tazer and for me it was an excellent $6 option

I went through the drive through at DD right after I got my windows tinted, opened the door to yell my order and tried to roll and got slammed in to park. First time it happened to me, surprised the shit out of me. Used to manual Jeeps.

The tazer will indeed negate the extender, if you enable the feature.
For me, the price isn't even the issue. If I'm too lazy to close the door or buckle the seat belt to drive 2ft, I'm certainly not going to dig an extender out of the console or wherever and plug that in. It's not like I'm driving miles or minutes with the door open. It's measures in feet and seconds.

Mine stays inserted all the time but I understand your point
