Tazer-updated Software-how to enable allow input while driven-no longer turning of license plate light in R

Hi and thank you in advance.

Our up-to-date Tazer is no longer turning the license plate light off and I can`t find the setting to allow user input in maps etc while driving.
Any pointers?

I unmarried, flashed the tazer again, married and then did 2 reboots (2 probably overkill) Seems to work for now, although it takes a second after putting it in reverse switching on back camera for the light to go out. I don't know if it kills the light if I go to the camera directly without putting it in reverse. Will check later.

I've run into some issues but I chalked it up to mine being a 23. My license plate blanking is hit or miss, and I cannot run the cooling mode unless the truck engine is off but in "run." I reached out to tazer and they said they'd have some fixes in the next update.

Mine did the same thing recently. unmarried it, did an update and reflashed it, and it is working again now.

Is Stellantis sending over-the-air updates to the Jeep that messes with the Tazer? Some mfgs are real aggro about this, others practically encourage it

OTA updates are not common. I have only read about them being sent to the 8.4 Uconnect. In the last 3.5 years I have only received one OTA update that I am aware of. It was the recall to fix issues with the backup camera.
