We have a 1 year old Seeing Eye lab puppy (plus 2 cattle dogs) that we drove to Florida with, from Pennsylvania...18 hours straight through.
The two cattle dogs rode in the back seat. For them I put the 40 seat up, and left the 60 side down. This allowed them 2 different levels, which kept them...
I think is depends on your camping style.
Are you looking at going to one area for multiple days, and doing site seeing in that area during the day? Then ground tent or camper is best.
Are you going from point A to B, with only camping in one location for a night and then moving on? Or just...
This is what I plan to do, once the wife says I can spend the $$ on 37s and wheels.
We drive from PA to FL once or twice a year, so I need hood gas mileage. Plus, because of PA's tire laws, I need oem width for inspection.
I think it was around $200 for everything, which included the $70 pump. It didn't take too long to put it together...guessing only an hour if I had did it all at once and worked on it with out distractions. The only thing I couldn't get locally was the tire chucks (bought on Amazon...Haltec...
Finished up a diy 4 tire inflate/deflate system made up from a Harbor Freight pump and 2 hoses, along with some parts from Lowes and Amazon.
34 psi to 18 psi in 2 minutes and 15 seconds...18 psi to 34 psi in 12 minutes and 30 seconds. Stock rubicon AT tires.
Made our yearly trip home from Sarasota, Florida to Lebanon, Pennsylvania. We make this trip once or twice a year...this is the second time in the Gladiator.
Pictures over the Gladiator loaded up and ready to leave. 2 adults and 3 dogs driving straight through.
Love the Diamondback cover...
I just did, but I put it between the plastic bumper and metal skid plate. 4 bolts removed the skid plate, which gave me access for mounting the speaker. I can get you a picture of the location tomorrow, if needed.
You mentioned above that you had the plastic oem bumper. I was curious if this Rock Hard bumper allows the skid plate to stay on?
I know the bumper kinda has its own skid plate just curious if the factory one could be tucked under/behind it? Or is the oem definitely not needed?
I'm planning on...
I drive from PA to FL one to two times a year. So I want to maintain at least some kind of decent mpg for those trips, but I also want 37" tires for normal day to day driving and offroading.
Is it possible to have two sets of tpms sensors (in their own set of tires/wheels) and easily be able...
The bed lights stay on for as long as the button is activated, if the engine is on.
They turn on/off automatically with doors being opened or unlocked, with the engine off.
I plan on doing something along the lines of the link I posted above. Wired so the rock lights come on whenever the bed...
