  9. CP4 Fuel Pump EcoDiesel Recall

Sounds like it should be done before the engine is installed in your new truck or shortly after you get your new truck. Regardless it’ll get sorted. Just glad mine has been good so far. I’ve towed my camper 1000miles from home and back again. Glad it didn’t pop in sc lol. However I will ask...

  11. Bypass filter and cooler install.

Soo here is the final update on this install. It’s uninstalled. Both fans have seized up. And the filter housing is not sealing well. So the pros of the system are you can use a cheaper filter. You have access to oil for cooling” need more volume” but it did help. And the cons are have to...

If you read through the diesel threads you will see the overheat and derate issues. Our goal is to solve those issues because jeep seems uninterested in doing so
  14. Anatomy of the oil cooler and filter housing.

I agree 230 is just fine. However the gap between the oil and water temp tells me the transfer of heat is not enough in the heat exchanger, aka it needs more plates. Being that we can’t add them the next best thing is to cool the oil directly.
  15. Anatomy of the oil cooler and filter housing.

In my experience the cooler is not efficient. I’ve towed in cold like 15deg f cold temps and even with my coolant at 190 my oil was into the 230 range. At highway speeds
  16. Smog Failed - Not Ready

Just imagine how much pollution is made driving pointlessly just to pass the emissions check. 2831 lbs of co2 at 28mpg. Roughly. Thank the lord for all the tree huggers in California really thinking things though….and that was just your ONE Vehicle….
