They do look great. For functionality, I'd move them back about 4" is my only gripe. The step doesn't quite line up with where I'd step to get in the vehicle. My wife is 5'1 though, and likes my Jeep much better with them.
Ordered Metalcloak front bumper and skid, and rear bumper and rear quarter rockers for their V Day sale. Was going to go Mopar, but I wanted something US made, and couldn't put together a steel rear bumper that took the parking sensors without ordering 45 parts. I've never even seen these...
Likely Ebay. There's a vendor there who sells them. They're meant for the decal, and were on the anniversary models. I hated the decal so replaced them with these. (right under the Jeep emblem on the front quarter panel) They just so happen to fit perfectly on the dashboard grab bar.
The 45 parts was for Mopar to be able to use rear sensors, and I'm not exaggerating! That looks great on your buddy's JK. Helped push me over to decide. Broke out the credit card and ordered a front and rear bumper, front skid, and rear rockers. Gonna be a lot of Ramen for lunch this spring...
By no means do I assume most people do this -just that I have a tendency to! Will check out your vehicle showcase. My own Jeep is mostly stock as well. Personalization can go a long way, but can also be never ending.
I have a problem. When I see posts like this (and the Gladiator tailgate emblem), I have to temper my kneejerk desire to buy by asking myself, "If they were clear from the factory, would you be considering buying orange ones/or a tailgate that just said "Jeep?" and more than just this time, the...
Anyone running their front or rear bumper and have thoughts? I was leaning towards Mopar for front, but a steel rear that uses parking sensors is going to take 45 different parts from their catalog.
I was really torn between the JT Willys I bought and a 2 door Rubicon JL. Considered keeping my Chevy pickup and just getting the Wrangler. As much as money, for me it was driveway space and playing vehicle Tetris with my wife.
That's over 80 parts and 45 part numbers. I get that several are bolts, clips, fasteners and such, but are you sure that's correct? Not trying to be a pain and I appreciate your time.
Minor update but got visor clips to lessen the chance I break them.
Currently shopping for a Mopar steel front bumper. Would love the Mopar rear as well, but having backup sensors, that's looking impossible.
*edited to fix typo
Benny, I'm looking for a steel rear bumper for my 2021 Willys Gladiator. Problem is, it has parking sensors and the ones I'm seeing are for trucks without that. Can you please find the part number of the one I need? Thanks!
Benny, I'm looking for a Rubicon steel front bumper with overrider bar, front skid and closeout panel. None of these were discounted for the 2022 Kickoff Sale. Any chance you have a code to push me into deciding on these?
