Sting-Gray has been my pick since before there was a Gladiator. =oP I have an Anvil JKU and just love the more muted "earthier" colors on the Jeep vs the bright colors. I had a the Toyota equivalent of Granite in my old Tacoma and really like the color... it feels like you can have...
So, I'm starting the paperwork now to get this thing. I managed to get rid of the VTR and when I run it through the pricing spreadsheet, I'm actually getting it for almost 7% under. That's demi-god mode imo.
Yah I think I have them ready to remove it. I think with that gone I can get to a price that I feel is a good deal, even if it isn't the "Godmode" deal that others seem to be finding.
VTR is the "Vehicle Theft Registration", an identifier they etch on a window in the vehicle. It's a BS thing they add on... they could do it for a LOT less than $700 and there is no evidence that it's useful.
The Doc Fee I only call a game because it's different between every dealer. I've seen...
It wouldn't be feasible for me to take that trip any time soon... and they aren't telling me where it is. =oP I don't know of a way to find it, and it's always possible that dealer does the VTR/Doc Fee game as well.
I'm on the cusp of buying, hating that I have very little wiggle room for a better deal. Sport S w/ everything I want + painted fenders (which I didn't realize I wanted until I saw it). 46,130 msrp, deals bring it down to around 39000. They have a fuckin VTR and Doc fee which is what's killing...
I kind of think they'll do "late model year additional colors" so none of the fancy Punk'n Orange type unique colors. They might still bring the more military colors sooner though (Gobi/Gator). From working with the order sheet I think there were plenty of mixups they forgot to put on that...
This. Completely this. The ONLY two things that keep pulling me towards a Mojave are the orange accents and the fact that I won't have to do the work to add the stuff. I can definitely build the same vehicle but man... those little things are nice. If I already had a Max Toad... I probably...
Why would you sell it for less than you have in it at this point? It's a perfectly good, more than perfectly good vehicle on it's own. He cannot offer you a better deal than what you have in your hand already.
Exactly, NOBODY deserves blind allegiance... be it car maker, TV star, politician, tv manufacturer, game studio. Well except Sony, I love Sony. =oP That being said, hating someone just for their brand name is equally foolish. If Ford makes a Wrangler that's got better stuff... let the Bronco...
Ok, just responded to your original post but see some more specifics. I am not a fan of losing that immediate equity of your new purchase... but if you're financially able to just make the switch sans new debt, go for it. I'm a fan of the Mojave over the Rubicon personally... if I wanted to...
It really sounds like you just want to spend money, just to spend it. A bird in the hand, all that...
Unless you want the reinforced frame, you can do anything to the Sport S that is available on the Mojave.
That being said, the Mojave really is more of a "speed" Gladiator so I feel like 39"...
From what I've seen, every color but white is a surcharge of $245 (which is an increase from the previous surcharge.) I think I noted the proper price on all of the pages but if I neglected to just let me know.
As of July 2021 my spreadsheet is for ordering a 2021 Gladiator and the 2020 sheet is "dead." I'll do my best to stay up to date with each new pricing sheet when they come out. I think there are errors in this most recent PDF that they'll change in the next one... but for my sheet matches what...
