That’s an opinion…not fact.
I’m firmly in the “you’ll notice 315/70+ tires on 4.10 (or lower) gearing” camp. It’s not “underpowered” for what the average person will need it for. With the eight speed, it’s still fairly responsive if you get on it.
Planning on hauling around a huge travel...
Saw this yesterday. I’m calling them “road feelers.” You rocking a pair, OP??
Sure. Then you end up with folks flying down the road at 70+ MPH with 2,000+ lbs in the bed of a pocket truck.
I wouldn’t look at anything on it too hard. I.e. Unless I absolutely slam the shit out of my tailgate when closing it, one side is flush and the other side sticks out ~3/4”.
When I asked the dealer, that’s basically what they said…just really close it completely/slam the shit out of it.:LOL...
Saw a bunch of sweet Jeeps around today. This XJ I was able to snap a picture of was one of the cooler builds.
Yukon sticker one the fender, so I take it that the front and rear are built to deal with the huge tires. All around cool rig.
Ok, I’m going to try this again. I need an eye bolt that will fit in this channel inside the roof of the cab (my previous post wasn’t clear on that).
This fits in the literal roof channel (on top of the cab)…not the one above.
That’s just it. If someone has that kind of money (I.e. Knew someone that dropped $200K+ restoring an antique Corvette), stroke the check/swipe the card and get it over with.
So it’s a dumpster fire wrapped inside of a shit show, but it was a “stupid good deal?” Was it free ninety-nine?
Good luck getting it fixed and/or sold.?
I went with Redline Tuning. The install was straightforward, but I’ll say that I think they included the best/most clear instructions (included pictures) that I’ve ever seen for an aftermarket accessory.
Tip for anyone that wants to install these…use a plastic trim removal tool to pop out the...
I’ll have to give that a go next spring (need to sort out a setup for door storage). I leave mine in the garage with the roof panels off and windows down, so sans doors wouldn’t be much of a stretch.
I need to get a flip back roof panel one of those days. I get caught in the rain without the...
Can someone share a link to M8 eye bolts that worked for you with the roof channels for securing stuff?
Most of the ones that I’m seeing have mixed reviews. Thank you.
