Since youāre the local expert on tuning here, any way to get the powertrain to operate in the aggressive mode it runs in during Offroad+ while in 2hi?
Interesting that itās missing. Someone else commented on late-build ā21s having different TMPS sensors, I wonder if due to the chip shortage they had to switch to sensors that donāt support tire fill alert (ānormalā tire pressure sensors donāt update frequently enough for tire fill alert to be...
The AEV and Jeep Performance snorkels specifically list that they are not compatible with the Mojave.
The Hauk one wonāt work either as the Mojaveās cowl is taller and the connectors wonāt reach. Itās also a bad place for an intake if youāre trying to keep dust out as itās low down and in a low...
Occupational hazard.
Honestly, while the existing tops work for me even I would have splurged for a power slider like the JL has instead of the dual top group. Super convenient when I'm already on the move and want some fresh air? Don't have to find an overpass to hide under while I close it if...
You guys are assuming that all JT drivers are 6' tall men. I love pulling the freedom panels on the rare nice day in cooler months, and dropping the soft top in the summer months, but I am a 6' tall man. My wife is 5'2. If I'm not around and she's driving the Jeep then there's no way she can do...
All Mojave's have 4.10s. They're limited to 6000# due to the softer suspension and anti-sway bars. All the other components you mention are exactly the same.
Sounds like I'll just need to buy a stack of OEM (or similar) filters for now.
Keeping my fingers crossed for a snorkel option that works on the Mojave. Maybe this winter I'll see if I can rig something up myself.
I havenāt researched the eco-d, but a lot of modern turbo vehicles have an six electric oil pump that circulates after shutdown. Could be the same thing here.
Huh, I hadnāt realized the diesels got those. Nifty.
I wonder what the real cost/weight savings is for the aluminum ones that makes it worth having both?
I used to be a slow rock crawler (and had a series of Rubicons over the years) but thatās just not my style these days, and my wifeās back...
If so then someone messed up your build, kinda like those Jeeps that show up with the wrong fenders. Rubicons should have the aluminum knuckles. Be happy with your accidental upgrade!
Thatās extremely high pressure unless youāve got your Jeep seriously loaded down. Youāre reducing comfort and handling and increasing the wear on the center tread of your tires. Iād definitely reduce that a bit.
Itās going to be hard to know for sure unless someone has the equipment to measure spring rate. The Mojave springs could very well be stiffer than the Rubicon springs.
