Just don’t ever disconnect the battery once you disable the built in LTE. You’ll discover that a lot of the UConnect apps have vanished and won’t come back.
Ahh, those are KO2s, not KOs, that explains it. The KOs usually come in under 35, the KO2s a bit over.
Either way it serves as a good warning for people to make sure they know the actual size of a tire before they assume it’ll fit.
Glad that one is working out on the road.
Articulating hitch if the tongue weight doesn’t cause much sag and if you’re going to spend a lot of time on trails that will require lots of articulation.
Weight distribution hitch if the trailer causes more than a small amount of sag and if you’re going to spend most of your time on the...
One thing to keep in mind for anyone else considering 37s on a stock JT Sport/Overland/Whatever, is that the BFG KO 37 only measures in at 34.75”. Not all 37s will fit.
I can’t say I’m the expert here, but I’ve seen it thrown around a few times that according to “then engineers” the stock shocks should still be on their sweet zone with up to an inch of suspension sag. I can’t say how much weight that translates too though.
For clarification purposes, no US Gladiators have any front parking sensors. Also, the adaptive cruise control and collision warning system uses a radar sensor behind the windshield, not the camera. The camera is used for auto-high beam control (and lane keeping in other vehicles that use the...
If you're having an issue with squatting it's because you (normally) should be running a weight distribution hitch with a trailer that heavy. The axle on your trailer is also very far back, putting a higher percentage of it's weight onto your Jeep. It looks like a military trailer with that...
We’ll, the first question is do your 37s fit in the spare well under the bed, and if not does that matter to you (meaning you’d have to store the spare in the bed instead).
I’m a fan of 5 tire rotations, but a lot of people are just fine with 4 tire rotation.
I’ve never really liked Fuel...
Be aware that the JKUs in that thread weight about 500 pounds less than our Gladiators, so the pressure they should run is likely to be a bit lower than our ideal.
"Legally" increase it? No. Nothing you can do there.
You could likely help how it handles loads by using stiffer springs from a Max Tow, but what you're really missing is the heavy duty cooling.
Oh yeah, these sensors definitely have a life span. Most TPMS batteries last 8-10 years.
The sensor I ordered is new from a dealership, so I’m not too worried about it.
