  1. Trailer Factory Equipped Backup Cameras and the Gladiator

Ahh, height will do that. I’m 6’ and it’s barely workable, but my 5’2” wife can’t see anything with that screen there. I guess I’m going to have to find a smaller option. I love the quality of the image on the Haloview, and the price, but I’ve read the 5” screen won’t do a 3 image split (rear...
  2. Trailer Factory Equipped Backup Cameras and the Gladiator

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but where are you putting the 7" Haloview monitor when you drive? I just got it and it feels like it takes up half of the windshield.
  3. Florida man: “-44 offset + 38 inch rubber protects JEEP in HIT & RUN!”

Pretty sure those aren’t bead locks.
  4. Idaho Sold: N/A

    N/A
  5. Is this normal?

As mentioned above, the spring isolator (the thing at the bottom) is on both, just different colors. I imagine that's to ease part picking and placement at the factory.
  6. Is this normal?

Your shocks aren’t visible In those pictures. Are you talking about the light grey rubber on the spring? If so, that’s there to reduce noise when you fully compress the coils. There should be one on all 4 springs.
  7. Volume reaches 38....is that all?

Yep, 38. My JK was the same. I’ve always wondered who made up the scale on these things.
  8. Trailer Brake Controller stock?

A couple weeks ago I was struggling to find a TPMS sensor even after lots of searching, but one post here and people gave me lots of sources! So… I’m hoping someone can do the same with the factory trailer brake controller. Everyone I’ve reached out to says they’re back ordered, and my new...
  9. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Looks good! That would work perfect for me. My wife just says she wants a place to stand up and change without giving the bears a show. Of course, an RTT purchase has probably been delayed a bit for me now. We just put down a deposit on a 2022 E-Pro trailer yesterday.
  10. Meltdown (sorry it repeated)

Unless it’s just something in the bed (meaning damage will be minimal and isolated) or someone’s life is in danger I’m not putting out a fire in my Jeep. The last thing I want is a repaired burnt Jeep. Let that thing burn to the ground and insurance can buy me a new one.
  11. Washington Rubicon Rear Bumper and back quarter rock sliders for sale

Hell, I’ll drive up for the whole thing if you have the brackets. I’m not too many hours away.
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

How is the annex at that height? I have a requirement for an annex, but I also want to mount the tent below roof line like you have.
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

The Jeep looks good, but I have huge garage envy going on over here!
  14. Meltdown (sorry it repeated)

You’re ignoring the voltage drop over your wires. That light isn’t receiving 12v but it still wants its 48w, so the amp draw is now higher, causing more heat. At 5.45v it’s now drawing 8.807a
  15. Jeepcares....help please ..Exaughst system needs service again x4

  16. Will changing my own oil void the warranty?

No, changing your own oil will not void the warranty. That would be against federal law. That being said, keep some evidence or a log of your oil change in case you need to prove it was done.
  17. Mojave Bump Stop Engage Early?

Impressive video! It may not have shown what you were looking for, but it’s still cool to watch the suspension cycle. If I can remember I’ll stick my GoPro in there next time I head off-road.
  18. Mojave Bump Stop Engage Early?

Yep, some pad slap is to be expected with these if you're using them aggressively. I wouldn't worry about it unless the impacts feel unreasonably harsh. Most of my time off the pavement anymore is spent about 40mph on rutted, pot-holed, washboard roads and the Mojave handles those with ease. I...
  19. Mojave Bump Stop Engage Early?

The Mojave bump stops should hit before a non-Mojave’s bump stops would. They’re there to slow down that last bit of travel before the actual bottom out.
  20. Master Chief build

I think something along the lines of “Halo” or “Spartan” is a lot more likely here.
