It seems feasible to me. In comparison, my family trip this summer through Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina in my 2020 Rubicon 3.6L with 37" KO2(c)s on stock rims and 4.10 gears I averaged 21.4 on the highway. This was over the span of 2626 miles with 4 adults plus luggage, cooler, and...
37" BFG KO2's (Load Range C) Stock Rims
app. 20 MPG on the highway cruising the speed limit (65-70 mph)
1 1/2" leveling Kit front, 3/4" space rear. Stock 4.10 gears, Skid Plates galore.
I would say Intermediate to Difficult. Most difficult trails this year were blacks at AOAA and Trail 16 at...
I was going to take a pic just like this but @Rusty PW ;s pic shows it better since his has red paint and mine are painted black and I try to touch them up after every trip. I have the Rusty's and they are working great.
Rear Lower Control Arm Frame skids are the "1st MUST" have additional skids in my opinion. I will be at Rausch in November and plan on hitting Blues/Blacks.
Brings back memories from 1.5 years ago. As everyone else says, build it to suit your needs and not others. For instance, I knew I was going to wheel "difficult" trails so my first big purchase was a decent bumper and winch. If I wasn't planning on wheeling where I do, the winch would not have...
Awesome build and you are making me miss my time in Hawaii. Lived there from 2006-2008. I used to get parts shipped to Oahu by using an air freight company named "Ship to Hawaii", not sure if they are still around.
As others have said, a poly spacer is a poly spacer and all work. The shock extensions are a good addition if you are not replacing shocks.
In my opinion the advantage of the Teraflex kit is that it has the option of three different lift heights (.5" / 1.0" / 1.5" ) depending on your needs and...
Just an FYI, I bought mine through Discount Tire. I worked with Matt, the Discount Tire rep here for the order and had the install done at the Martinsburg, WV location.
I had the same dilemma. i ended up going with 37 KO2's (Load Range C), stock rims, 1.5" leveling kit. stock 4.10 gears. No complaints so far. Some say they are 35's, I disagree, probably 36"s would be more accurate since sitting at 34 psi loaded they are about 35.25 inches . No 35" I have ever...
For future reference. 37X12.50 KO2, Load Range C, stock Rubicon wheels, TeraFlex 1.5" leveling kit. No rubbing on the street. spare on stock rim fit in stock location easily.
You may want to try OnX again. I just got an email today saying OnX is now available for Android Auto. It has been showing up on my screen but "was in the works" or something like that.
