Took in the rig for tire rotation. Full size matching spare upgraded with Apex valve and tpms. Glad new tpms registered without a hitch. All mounted on the tire carrier. Removed the spare from under the bed.

Thoughts? Been of the mind for some time now that anti slip in the rear locker up front is the best all around setup. IMO rear locker seems like more of a carrot on a stick for those maybe looking at *ahem* competition. Anybody have any real world experience to lend here?

I have the 4.5” setup with 37” tires minus speed bumps and track bars. There is some spacers in the kit for the rear driveline that prevent issues. Also extensions for brake lines and abs sensor. Its all well thought out. been abusing this setup over a year all over the western states no issues...

IMO the Bronco is the torch bearer for the FJ. It has a better 4 door setup, better engines (arguably) and more variety. Other than that very similar in the approach to designing an off road vehicle. Funny thing is guys I know with FJs all want to SAS them.

Same no idea why press talked that up so much. It is standard ford fare. Not interested in one as a hardcore off road machine w/ no solid axle up front. Probably a lot nicer for long road trips, camping in easier accessed spots from my own experience with the f-150.

Thank you. Was under the rig looking for things to lube up and it looks like they are sealed with some rubber or plastic. Happy to learn they are maintenance free.
