This are my kids pets.... one is 10 the other 14 years old. My kids got them as "rescue dogs" about 13.5 years ago for one and 9.5 years ago for the other- the kids were teen-agers and these were thier dogs. (Don't fall for it parents- unless you are willing to do all the care after your kids...
  2. Armorlite Flooring installed

Black friday had a great deal on Armorlite flooring by @Armorlite_Kail (15% off and free shipping) and so I decided to install it in my 2020 Gladiator. Install went well... made a short video showing the stages. I also put on drivers side seat jackers and sound deading stuff... this was the...
  3. Trying out Patagonia XT in the 38 inch size on my 2020. And fitting the spare under the truck

So far... Only dirt, highway, and gravel driving. We have no ice or snow and I've not had a wheeling trip yet. Tires balanced well, are very quiet, and no vibrations or anything from them. Only about 400 miles on them so far.... But they seem nice enough. Going to take them in the Rubicon trail...
  4. Trying out Patagonia XT in the 38 inch size on my 2020. And fitting the spare under the truck

No... it fit tight, you just had to actively guide it to the position but it fit, and with the clayton bar it will be good!
  5. Trying out Patagonia XT in the 38 inch size on my 2020. And fitting the spare under the truck

I have EVO HD 4.5 plush rides for rear coils. I LOVE THEM. They don't wobble around on hard trails, they don't rebound and toss it side to side. they do stink bug when empty... the truck is 2 inches higher in the rear. The coils handle the empty weight well too- there is a couple inch space that...
  6. Trying out Patagonia XT in the 38 inch size on my 2020. And fitting the spare under the truck

I have a video of what I've done to the Gladiator to now try running 38's. I also wanted to keep the spare under the truck... so this is what that looks like. It should be noted the following has already been done: Regeared, RCV front, 35 spline rear and trussed, new inner fenders, reid...
  7. 🎄 Christmas Giveaway: What's Your Beloved Jeep's Name? 🎁

Our family is a family with a bunch Lord of the rings geeks for kids... so I chose a name that they would be able to find from the books. "Hasufel" - I don't recall if the movie said his name or not- but Hasufel was the horse that brought Aragorn back to Helm's deep after he was lost over a...
  8. Is this a good ground? Arb brushless.

I'm mounting it under the brake booster.... that is where I had the old compressor . I did find some painted large metric bolts going into the frame around the engine compartment. I took one out, cleaned it up and used that one for the gound.
  9. Is this a good ground? Arb brushless.

The wire kit is very short for the ground. I instructions just say find a good ground. I'm aware that there are grounds on passenger side. What is an appropriate ground on the driver's side engine compartment?
  10. A cheap way to get a front end camera that works great!

These kits have a mirror with a hidden screen inside. If you look on Amazon you should be able to find some with a seperate monitor (the RV ones all have a monitor). There are some that use the whole mirror as well... or you can use multipule cameras and see them on the mirror.
  11. A cheap way to get a front end camera that works great!

This is what was available in May... there are hundreds of cameras like this under 50 bucks on Amazon... and they change all the time. I think they are all made at the same place... lol, they look the same. But there are some as low as 22 bucks... I figured the availablity of the exact camera I...
  12. A cheap way to get a front end camera that works great!

I've been using this 37 dollar camera and mirror for 8 months... a home made way to have a great trail aid for cheap!
  13. Two new modifications for my Gladiator -- American Adventure Lab and ARK splash guards

This is not really a "how too" video- its more of a comparing the old and new and getting a few tips to you about these two items. If you are thinking of installing the American adventure lab new slim light upgrade- here is a way to see the changes in the light and see them on a gladiator. I've...
  14. How do you get into this mess? LOL

Mud, water on the wheel ...we got it out by deflating to 4psi, and using a branch to lever the passenger side out from the tree... and we did not have to cut the green tree down... a thing the forest service frowns upon.
  15. How do you get into this mess? LOL

I did a full video of this trail... its in two parts. The crazy stuck happened toward the middle of the second video. The rest of the video just shows what sort of remote area can be yours in Montana if you are willing to drive into the back country. Part 1: PArt 2:
  16. Jurassic World Jeep Badge of Honor Now Available

I was in italy when it was released... lol, it would not let me check in to the trail it said I thousands of miles away from the check in point. No dinosuars in Italy.
  17. A custom made awning we are putting to the test.

I got really small s- hooks with latches to go between the D-rings on the tarp and the clips on the roofnest, I used rubber shrink wrap over the clips on the D-rings side. Even in strong winds the tarp was quiet. But it was tightly snugged down with the ratchet ropes on the poles. So if...
  18. A custom made awning we are putting to the test.

We are not being paid for this or did we get anything for free. This was a real chance for us to reach out to a canvas company nearby and see if they could make an awning that did not shred and did not have to be folded up in storms. This is something that has happened to many we know with the...
