Super good question. You posted that after I looked on their site haha. I posted another question on their site about possibly rewiring it to not use the Can-bus if you dont want to. Seems to me, with my electrically illiterate mind, that you can just straight wire accessories to the fuse box...
One of the few things I can't seem to find no matter how hard I try. My question is two-fold:
1. The bed power outlet is connected directly to the main battery, correct? This is fairly obvious but just want confirmation of this.
2. If #1 is true, like I assume, is it possible to rewire said...
I've placed arb twins under 4 different wranglers. Never had an issue with heat. I prefer this location over anything else. 813 Fab has a bracket for twin under the hood. Once I recover from my hand surgery I will be placing mine there for the 5th time.
Wait what lol. They are not programmed for lockers. None of it is programmed. Unsure about how you came to that conclusion. If I change the rocker switches on my spod in my JK does that change what they activate?
No idea. Interesting concept...not a fan of it though. I haven't set up my CB yet...
There is no damage to the integrity of those springs if they have a tiny chip in the coating...something like this does not constitute any sort of action to be taken. A few weeks on the truck they will look worse.
They are fine.
That requires other parts. This comes with it.
I paid $230ish for the right side only. It comes with all the wires and a fusebox for it. No flashing required since I already have the factory aux. So i think this is a phenomenal kit for those who went factory aux switches.
Appreciate the new coupon code lol. Ill be a guinea pig too. I have the factory switches but have been trying to figure out how to install extra switches in the empty spot below the 12v. This seems perfect for $200 (just the red switch bank and with the 20% discount)
I would like to know this as well...I see no point to this portion.
Edit:
If you open the Q&A someone asked. The answer is for an external walkie talkie.
My dealer said nothing of it doing so. Only way it could would be if it shorted out and blew all your fuses and such. Dealer could try to state the new battery kit did it, therefore it voids warranty. But that is really the extent of it.
Never had an issue on the one I have in my JK for 6 years.
Playing the victim. Love it
So there was a TSB for 2018 JL's. K. Cool. Never doubted that, and knew that. I went through that myself.
The bolded part of your sentence is what I have an issue with. My main battery was, and is, perfectly healthy. But my JT did not start on 4 separate...
Tell me why there are dozens on dozens of people who had issues and a new aux battery fixed their issue then?
I had my aux replaced SEVERAL times for failing, with nothing on or plugged in inside the cab so there was no "user error", before you attempt to go that route. It is most certainly...
The aux batteries are garbage and will sporadically die. Look at all the other posts on t his.
If the aux battery is below a certain voltage the truck will not start, even though it id not the cranking battery. I bet your cranking batt was fine and your aux was drained.
