  1. EZ 4x4 hinges for Freedom Tops

I recall seeing these pop up on here. For my purposes, I just don't see the point. Seems like the worst of all the options, combined into one? IMO looks a bit goofy when flipped back, have to either permanently attach VHB tape to your top or drill holes, convenient storage (the bed) is already...
  2. Too ambitious: major body damage. What would you do here? (Bed Damage)

More than once, I have tried to convince my buddy in Australia to sneak one of these in his carry-on the next time he makes the trip up here. https://rsismartcanopy.com.au/smart-tray-canopy/
  3. U-connect and/or Carplay update changes the blue arrow on Google maps to a pic of a small vehicle...?

Are you using the built-in nav on the headunit or Google Maps through Carplay? Maybe that would explain why yours appears different. I don't have any experience with either though, I have had an Android phone and used AA for as long as I can recall.
  4. U-connect and/or Carplay update changes the blue arrow on Google maps to a pic of a small vehicle...?

Have you possibly changed the "Keep map north up" setting? I am pretty sure the default is to rotate the Map instead of the vehicle on mobile devices.
  5. U-connect and/or Carplay update changes the blue arrow on Google maps to a pic of a small vehicle...?

Waze on AA has something similar. At some point, the ladyfriend made mine some dragon as a joke. Took me six months to figure out where the setting was, although I wasn't really looking all that hard, I suppose. I ended up leaving it the way it was, and also adding Mr.T voice directions for when...
  6. 2025 Rubicon Suspension question

Yeah, if I am being honest with myself, the most extreme thing this truck sees are weekends on forest service/logging roads. But the tires were cheap, and we have plenty of mud so.....I figured why not? Lots of people will say you can get better suspension for the money with aftermarket vs the...
  7. 2025 Rubicon Suspension question

Without getting into the weeds on your specific ask (I am sure someone can elaborate on the exact numbers) here is my Rubicon, on 37's, OEM steel wheels, with only the Mopar 2.5" lift for reference. No other suspension mods. I also came from 35's ands stock suspension. Point being, 37's fit fine...
  8. AMW rear emblem

    29 minutes in.
  9. YOTTO Overland

I would be surprised if there is even anyone employed by Yotto who could assist you. Shell company, dropshipped products, website is probably one of dozens that someone (or some thing) manages. Can't offer support if you aren't actually a legitimate company.
  10. YOTTO Overland

Unfortunately, the majority of the "overlanding" companies that have popped up in the last decade are just drop shipping the same set of products from the same dozen factories in China. Nothing inherently wrong with that approach, or the products they are selling, but they definitely aren't...
  11. Which do you prefer? Cloth or leather?

The main thing I have learned from this thread is that folks seem to be WAAAAY more sensitive to hot seats than I apparently am. I am not located in the desert like a lot of the owners responding seem to be, but I am also not in Canada like the OP is. Maybe it's just that the Dark Saddle isn't...
  12. WOLFBOX G900 Tripro Dash Cam - Designed for Off-roading! Up to $50 off

Not necessarily an answer to your question... but after having a few of these in different vehicles (currently have the G900 Pro in the Gladiator), I am not sure that treating them as a 1-to-1 rearview mirror replacement is even the best way to think about them. I initially had the same concerns...
  13. Which do you prefer? Cloth or leather?

No idea on the Mojave, but my Rubicon has manual leather. FWIW. Enjoy your new truck!
  14. 2026 Gladiator JT is getting a 35's option and other stuff

Seriously though.......that's sort of the way these threads go. If it's got 10 pages of replies and is less than a month old, might as well settle in and enjoy the ride.
  15. Fender Flare + Wheel Combo for Full Tire Coverage in PA

For reference, here is my current setup. OEM Mopar steel wheels, 37x12.50 Firestone M/T2's. Hardly any poke, but they don't care about that sort of thing around here regardless. Every other truck seems to get away with looking like an overgrown, off-road skateboard.
  16. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT issues

Its worth mentioning that the folks giving those reccomendations don't all seem to be on the same page. The last time this came up in the pizza cutter thread I relayed that I had also called and asked MT about my skinny 35s and they gave me different numbers. Then when talking to a MT quality...
  17. Which do you prefer? Cloth or leather?

This is one of those questions, along with fender-flare preference and pretty much anything related to these trucks now that I think about it... that is heavily swayed by where you live and what you do with the truck. My truck will probably never see sand like the folks out west, or the kind of...
  18. First Time 4X4 Observations

The RPM change isn't perception. It's just a straight 300rpm gain at idle as evidenced by the tach. That said, since the truck is practically impossible to stall in 4lo, I have never really noticed it until this post came along. Hell, you can just re-start the truck with the clutch engaged if...
  19. First Time 4X4 Observations

In my manual you get about a 300rpm change (from 600 to 900 at idle) just by switching into 4 Lo.
  20. 2026 Gladiator JT is getting a 35's option and other stuff

In college I worked at a Toyota/Lexus dealership as a porter for a summer. Mainly moving new vehicles off the truck. The amount of TRD badges, stickers, and meaningless fluff that we slapped on cars just to mark them up was surprising to me as a kid.
