The "non-painted" or non-color-matched top is painted...black. It's made of the exact same thing that the color-matched top is made of. It's just painted black with a black textured paint.
My '24 whines in reverse, but only if I go over about 5mph in reverse. My friend has a long, narrow driveway, and I have to back out when I go there. It whines.
I've actually been using the Fram Synthetic Endurance, which are more $4 more expensive than the Mopar filter at my local Walmart. I compared them, and the filter media seems better on the Fram than the Mopar.
It's not that bad. Getting rid of the weeds is the hardest thing. Pre-emergent in the March. Herbicide and fertilizer in April. Fertilizer every 6 weeks during the growing season. Dethatch and aerate and overseed in the fall. I pay someone to do all the spraying. I do the rest myself. I...
I did my first change at 600 miles. My second was 5000 miles. I really liked when we did 3000-mile oil changes, because I could rotate my tires at the same time. Trying to remember every 3000 and every 5000 is tough.
Mowing every 3 days is getting old fast. I stopped using my riding mower so I could get some exercise (and because my riding mower has a tire that goes flat every couple of days). I'm about go back to the riding mower.
I just got mine installed. It seems to work great. I just wish I had known that my adaptive cruise control box would take up nearly a third of the field of view on the front facing camera. I think something could be 3D printed to allow the mirror to be mounted a little toward the driver side...
Well, I don't think they'd be happy about doing my tire rotation. My tires weigh 94 pounds each and my wheels weigh 34 pounds each. That's 128 pounds per corner, and I do a five-tire rotation. I'm sure they'd find a reason to not do it!
