  1. TPS Where To Buy Advice……

Sorry to hijack the thread but, I would like to understand how these work. I know I can move my wheels around, and the truck figures it out. I saw them do something with a reader device at the tire place when they put the new one on. Is it necessary to "connect" it to the truck? If I loaned my...
  2. TPS Where To Buy Advice……

I ordered one for my spare from America's tires... %50-60ish. They programmed it for me.
  3. Looking for local steering take offs

I have a 2000 mile trip coming up. I have been getting some mild death wobble where I have to slow way down to get it to stop. I have tracked it back to some worn steering parts. The socket joint between the pitman arm and the drag link is the worst one. The part is on back order everywhere. If...
  4. Have a local question

Cool. I have a 100ah lithium that runs a fridge in back. It runs on AUX2 and I don't find I need solar at all. It will hold up the big fridge for at least three days under worst case conditions and it charges in a few hours of driving. Solar would be cool cause I might could just leave the...
  5. Have a local question

I could help you if you are interested in learning. I'm an hour or two north but I actually get down that way quite a bit on weekend to see inlaws in Riverbank.
  6. Rubicon rear shocks- pogo suspension?

They finally arrived and were reasonably straightforward to install. Took me maybe an hour per end. The ride and handling are much improved. Less sway and rocking when turning out into traffic. I have not had an opportunity to get it off pavement, but I expect it will be an improvement here as...
  7. EZ Oil Drain Valve

Anyone know what size fits the 3.0L?
  8. Rubicon rear shocks- pogo suspension?

Paid for but not here... Wait wait wait.
  9. KC FLex Era 4 install with Aux Switch

2 lights at 6.7 amps would be 13.4 Amps. Any of your Aux circuits should work for the lights. I would go with one of the smaller circuits and save the bigger ones for something that may need more. I would still run a fuse after you tie in that is whatever came with the harness, as it should be...
  10. Rubicon rear shocks- pogo suspension?

I've had 5100s on order since June. I'll let you know when they get here... I run heavy all the time. My jeep is not a daily driver, so it stays loaded and ready. The ride is fine until it's not like you say. Hoping the new dampers help tone the bounce and sway down.
  11. Colorado Overland Portable Hot Water Shower box kit

I have all the parts to make one like this, but I haven't done it in almost 4 months so the time is worth some for sure. I have been making due with a big Rubbermaid situation that sucks. I should finish mine. I love the way you did the bumpers and the handle on the bottom.
  12. Fender liner does not like strong headwinds.

Are you saying they replaced it under warranty. Perhaps I should ask the dealer when I'm in there.
  13. Fender liner does not like strong headwinds.

Discovered this after having the dealer replace the front shocks and then driving across Navada and the salt flats on I-80 doing about 80MPH with a strong cross wind. New liner was about $90. I would love an aftermarket alternative but they all seem to be made for taller fenders or something.
  14. Water Tank - 19.9 gal on-board / removable custom solution

Thanks. That has been my biggest concern with going to one big tank. Over the 20l separate jugs. Appreciate your experience.
  15. Water Tank - 19.9 gal on-board / removable custom solution

    Thanks! What about sloshing?
  16. Water Tank - 19.9 gal on-board / removable custom solution

I'm looking at building a similar water system and I wonder how this has been working out for you. Specifically, any durability concerns with the tank... chafing, bulging, leaks, etc.? And also, do you experience any noticeable effects from water sloshing side to side while off-roading in tippy...
  17. 3rd shock over rear axle

Yes it is, but it can also be a problem with a 5 link. Under the wrong conditions, like high throttle in the sand or modest throttle in deep snow, the axle can load up and then slip and unload generating a hopping of the axle and a lose of traction.
  18. Move XM ANTENNA

It is only a receiver. It does not transmit. Unlike your, cell phone there is no radiation from it at all.
  19. Super mega gladiator meetup

So there is a lot of feedback here. Is anyone going to make a call and get the ball rolling?
  20. RTT's + humidity?

I have limited experience, but here it is. FWIW We got our tent just in time for a trip to Moab last fall. It rained on us early the last night in Moab, but we left it up for a while in the morning to air out. The fly kept most of the tent dryish. We stayed in a hotel on the drive home, so the...
