I dove into this on the JL forum before the 392 was announced, and I never found anything from Jeep or FCA making that claim.
It all seems to stem from a misunderstanding of what Tim Kuniskis said in this article:
https://www.drive.com.au/news/jeep-gauging-interest-in-two-door-ute/
He seems...
Most likely, as that's exactly what Ford did to get 95:1.
Crawler gear * 3:1 t-case * Optional 4.7 gears
Jeep is just playing their game.
Manual 1st gear * 4:1 * 4.88
Edit: Link removed from an "Insiders" site that reports on Mopar products, which seems to be confirming the Expedition Portal leak.
I just can't fathom why this wouldn't be available on the 2 door, especially when Iirc, Ford will allow Sasquatch on both.
There's an argument for why the 2 door...
Plans to turbo the pentastar were scrapped.
Fca was working on a new I6 based on the 2.0, with tighter cylinder spacing and other changes, such that it was supposed to be only 3" longer than the Tigershark engine.
Expected to be turbocharged with outputs ranging from 300 to 500+ hp.
Haven't...
Approach angle
Crawl ratio
Water fording
Ground clearance
Each matches the leak from Overland Expo, and confirmed by the journo under embargo on the JL forum.
A poster speculated the 100:1 comes from the optional 4.88 gears, 4:1 t-case and manual first gear ratio.
Fits with how Jeep likes to...
So the question is, does Jeep get the jump on the Bronco pickup by offering this in the JT as well?
Jeep has been a bit bi polar on the JT. On the one hand they want to tout its off road chops. Otoh, they've gone out of their way to distance it from Wrangler, by emphasizing that it is a truck...

37° to 47.4° seems unlikely with just lift/tires, so it's probably approach/ departure.
Package was all but confirmed on the JL thread; poster said he's had embargoed info, and he's been right in the past.
If we get another teaser tomorrow with 26.5 or so, that'll just about seal the deal.
What's the departure angle for the 2 door Rubicon?
The fact that this teaser is on the rear bumper make me wonder if it's the 2 door departure on 35s/lift.
The link I posted before said the package was 4 door only, but that would still give Ford the edge, as the Sasquatch can be had on both.
That surprised me. The 2.3 in the Ranger is rated for 7500#. Given that the Bronco is based on the Ranger platform with a shorter wheelbase, and how they benchmarked Jeep, I thought they'd go with 5000# towing.
That said, they're also fighting the perception of IFS and articulation, and they...
The rumored I6 is supposedly based on the 2.0, although with tighter cylinder spacing and other changes, such that the overall length was to be just 3" longer than the 2.4l Tigershark. It supposedly would replace the pentastar and the HEMIs, with outputs ranging from 300-500+ HP.
From the JL thread (also saw it on the Bronco6g forum):

To me they look better with the top off than the full doors. With the full doors you get quite a bit of real estate from the body color window frames that changes the profile. While the sport bar and b pillar are also body color, I don't find them to stand out quite so much.
That's his point. Unlike on the JL, the fender doesn't interfere with the rear door, so there's no need for the angle on the JT rear doors. Instead of designing a different rear door for the JT, they just used the same doors, and the angle looks out of place/serves no purpose.
Similarly they...
While the tax credit is certainly relevant to the discussion of a 4xe Gladiator, the nature of the credit isn't, so I'm heeding the request to refrain from politics.
I would be happy to discuss elsewhere, although it seems that there is not an appropriate forum offered here or on the sister site.
