To me it's underwhelming.
Shocks. Trim. Software they've been promising since launch.
Not a hint of what most have been begging, existing and future competition are expected to provide in spades, and which has been rumored for a year.
Oh yeah, that heavily camo'd hood? Just so that nobody...
And no, I'm not seeing any video on their Instagram.
The guy at the JL forums says to the news should break tonight/ tomorrow after midnight when the press embargo ends.
Guy on the JL forum has been hinting at Jeep but non Wrangler news top come from Chicago. Implied it's a desert runner thing.
Rumors from last year were for a Gladiator "Hercules," possibly with the rumored "Tornado" I-6.
Recent spy shots show a Gladiator with a camo'd hood with a bulge...
Then in early January, an alleged Dakota mule was spotted. No pics, or if there were, it's behind a pay wall.

I was just reading a MT article from May, which quoted Manley saying that Ram is focused on a mid size.
He says that the problem has been "a cost-effective platform in a region where we can build it with low cost and it still being applicable in the market."
That reads like it wouldn't be JT...
Innovative Auto Creations in AZ has a M715 kit for the JL/JT.
They seem to specialize in Corvettes, but I think they supplied all the SEMA concepts with that front end. They said it's just a new hood and grille. Last I saw you had to contact them for pricing.
Not yet. I'll probably be giving it a couple years so that the wife and I can pay off the other cars. I see the JT as a "keep it forever" weekend/work/weather purchase for me.
I was hoping they'd pony up and use the M715 front end like the original Gladiator.
In the wake of the reveal, Jeep was constantly stressing that it was a real truck, and not just a Wrangler with a bed. Probably because they realize that's exactly how it looks.
Point is that in terms of towing and payload, the J6 is no different than the Wrangler on which it's built. The Wrangler that most Jeep truck fans find inadequate in those tasks.
I too would like a 2 dr Jeep truck, but built on the JT platform with a full 8' bed. But it isn't the J6.
Elon has said that the styling is a function of the stainless, which is hard to bend. And it's allegedly the same stainless that they'll use on the SpaceX Starship.
It almost seems as if he got a great deal on the stainless, but more than SpaceX could ever use, and created an excuse to use it...
No, really. Whether other companies also got tax credits is entirely irrelevant to my point.
I'm talking about Tesla. In short, he didn't know what he didn't know. But it didn't seem like he wanted to learn.
I think he saw something he viewed as a problem and thought he had the solution. But...
